Nobody Visits This Country...Find Out Why You Should!

🇧🇩 There are few countries in the world with a bigger image problem than Bangladesh. I mean, just tell me the last time you heard a good news story from the nation? Exactly! Well, I thought I'd go and see if it really was just a place of monsoon floods and outbreaks of disease or, if there were some good reasons to visit the country. And what I found might surprise you so much that you might want to come visit too...Welcome to what is perhaps the world's friendlist nation: Bangladesh!

Right before the main exist was this long hallway with lines painted on either side. Right on those lines were DOZENS of people speaking with alot of authority, demanding I show them my passport. Unfortunately many hadn't read the notes on their plane ticket mentioning these people as being time share scammers who the moment they get your passport you're stuck listening to a sales pitch for half an hour, basically until you agree to go to one of their presentations. This was obviously something sanctioned by the airport. Just keep walking is a VERY good piece of advice in many situations.

Writing from Bangladesh here, welcome to our country. The places you're visiting are some of the most chaotic, overly crowded places of Bangladesh and their main language is Bengali. But there are other parts in the country where you can get people who know better English, offer hygienic food, has less chaos and what not. Please also visit those places and not only the chaotic and poor ones. As an example, many Bangladeshis don't even shave their beards in shops like that, we have better and more hygienic barber shops for this. That's just an example. Hopefully you get the full experience of visiting Bangladesh but not only the bad ones.

I laughed so hard when you said to the guy 'you got the eyes of a demon' haha. Also love how you interact with the child beggars. You just pay them ebough attention that it is not rude or arrogant. And in the end you find a way that benefits all when you let them guide you to a barber shop. Your empathy for people of all ages goes a long way.

@@vasiovasio It's not really that noisy everywhere in our country. A little glimpse of the busiest and craziest part of the capital city doesn't depict a country's full picture, I believe. Old Dhaka is indeed very noisy, overpopulated and rather poor. Where I live in Dhaka, it's not the same. Lots of love to Bulgaria!
