Nobody Visits This Country Anymore ( Find Out Why ) 🇻🇪

🇻🇪 Venezuela, the name conjures images of a country synonymous with economic collapse and violence. But is that reputation deserved or is there another side to the country that the media don't show? Well, despite being nervous for my safety and that of my camera, I flew into Caracas on my own to investigate. Oh, and whilst there of course I had to visit the infamous Petare barrio, known as Venezuela's most dangerous hood. Would I survive? Join me and find out. Vamos a Caracas chamos!
Shout out to ‪@BackpackerBen‬ for accompanying me all the way from Cusco to Colombia and thanks to my chama Lucy for her help with the translations on the trip 🫡

Attention!!! Hell is real!!! Where will you go when you die??? If the rapture took place today, would you be left behind??? Jesus loves you and He died for your sins. Anyone who denies Jesus Christ will also be rejected. Humble yourself to REPENT and put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today, we are not guaranteed tomorrow. . Mark 1:15 For the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel.

I grew up in Eastern Venezuela, particularly Anzoategui. We always had jokes about fish and beaches near Caracas. The beaches in other parts of the coast are better because of population density and the fact that La Guaira (which is state where the beaches you visited) had a massive landslide which damaged the coastline in the 1999 landslide. If you ever go back visit the other cities like Maracaibo, Maracay, Puerto La Cruz (my hometown), Ciudad Bolivar, and more. There are endless things to see. Thank you for your videos.

Dude, that architect living under a bridge broke my heart. I am from Argentina and we received a lot of Venezuelans after the recent crisis. Very hard-working nice people, the ones I met. But I can't stop thinking they escaped from and it's inflation.. and they ended up here where we seem to be going through the same process. Kind of sad. It´s cool that you come to south American countries. Make good use of your Spanish, it's getting much better. Keep it up

He said he wouldn't be making them in Russia anymore, for obvious reasons, but I don't recall him ever saying he was going to quit making vids. At this point even if he wanted to quit, that would be a huge gamble. KZread is his job and how he gets income. Also, his previous business ventures haven't been raging successes, (hint = bankrupt is in the name). Don't get me wrong, he's a very intelligent guy that's been wildly successful (at least on youtube) and could surely find some other outlet if he wanted to. But why would he? No boss, makes his own hours, literally travels for a living, and best of all, has a handful of dudes he can collab with and it benefits all of them. He's not young and he def makes good money doing these vids, he's not going anywhere.

I am sometimes left speechless at how simply and beautifully Ben is able to give a voice to these ordinary people who have been cared for so little and frankly betrayed by all the people in power. Buying the kids chocolates and lighting smiles on people's faces by simply talking to them, sharing small joys everywhere he goes, Ben is a real world hero.

Dude, I need to appreciate how easily you find your way around languages. I remember your wonderings in and about Russia, and you've been speaking like some foreigner who spent half his lifetime learning Russian. I was like, ok, maybe that dude has a history involving Russian, but now you say you just begun learning Spanish - and there you are fluently chatting on the streets. I mean, yeah, you're not discussing rocket science, but how easily you respond with meaningful answers. I've seen people unable to that fluency even in the easiest sentences after years of devoted studying.
