That's a ripoff 800 for two tea buns with a bit of marmalade

Lot of foreigners think Paratha samosa etc are our traditional food but I feel these bakery items existed long before these things came. Samosa and stuff are late addition imo because those got popularized all around the country like 20 years. Bakery food had been staple snacks for a long time probably because of colonial influence. 800 rupee jam and bun is a major rip off man. That guy properly scammed you both. A normal tea bun cost less than 100 rupees at bakeries

Sri Lanka is so hotter in this year. Generally we preffers mixed weather .. but from february to march and again july and August quite dry and hot.

11:20 That price approx 2.5 USD is for a tea bun meal including butter, jam cool water, service, and a clean area. A little pricey, yes, thank you for visiting Sri Lanka.

Because it is a restaurant not a local tea shop and this is not over charging this is common price inside the restaurants in mirissa . If you visit mirissa you can find out how the restaurant's menu charge for their food 😅😅😂

This is not a local tea shop to give buns for rs 60. This is a restaurant for foreigners. It has a menu and the price is common in mirissa restaurants. Where are you live ? Do you visit mirissa at least one time? So don't give wrong ideas for that people .
