When Christopher Lloyd grabbed the gun to stop it from firing, he also put his pinky between the hammer and firing pin too. That's why the gun didn't go off.

Yes he did 🔥
Actually that 1911 (year introduced and still strong to this day) style pistol could not have fired since the hammer was initially down; only an sa/da (single action/double action) pistol cocks the hammer back on the first round, thats the da part. That is tech from my dusty old day, not the usual polymer framed hammerless striker fired Glock etc all internal firing system. With hammer back regardless, then yes he did block the hammer from falling; what impressed me tho is that the writers showed a retired FBI guy would know if you grab the slide on top and push back just a 1\8-1\4 inch, and lock it down with a strong grip, semiautomatic pistols go out of battery and can't operate to fire. Silly minutia I hear you all saying, sbi. I just thought the whole thing was EPIC regardless when he lifted the sawed off shottie up with that 'you are so screwed' smirk! Been watching Christopher for many years and it was so cool to see him in a full action role finally; he is a funny guy off set, and you know he and the others had a laugh-filled blast doing it!!
I think he did all stunts - trained for this role 2 years or something what I heard/read.

Oh nice! Yeah if your gonna work with this team of creators u gotta be dedicated.
His wife…Connie Neilson..Gladiator..Soldier..with Kurt Russell..and I believe she was in the Keanu Reeves movie where he’s a lawyer..with Al Pacino as Satan..
Imagine a claymore with 1500 ball bearings shooting out in a specified pattern..we know a claymore is forward pointed..I served 21 years from ‘66 til mid 1987..went to Vietnam..Thailand, Germany(5 years)..and Korea for a year in scout platoon leading patrols in the DMZ..batallion ammo NCO for 18 months..US Army rifle team for a year..so I have a little experience..
Now I HAVE to say it....The first time I saw an end credit scene was in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" from 1986. However, according to Wikipedia the movie "The Silencers" from 1966 is the first movie to do an end credit scene. Again, I HAD to do this since you mentioned it.

Yeah a lot of movies have post credit scenes and stuff. Idk right now it just feels like a comic book movie thing. When I watch a random movie and out of nowhere a post credit scene comes out it just feels a little weird. Hollywood and their attempt to make a franchise out of everything nowadays u know? I’m not like fully against it, it just feels weird.
If the basement is all designed to burn at a higher rate than usual, the house is probably designed to be *very* sound proofed. Those *3 letter agencies* don't mess around.
I put a fire extinguisher in my car..so….some have them some don’t…
look at every movie with jacke chan, in every movie is post credits
12:32 he was training in preparation for this film for two years, which according to Bob Odenkirk says being in shape for ‘Nobody’ helped him survive heart attack.
The second assassin that Christopher Lloyd kills here is played by Sergey Shnurov, a pretty popular Russian pop singer and, as it turned out recently, a piece of crap.
Why is everyone comparing this to John Wick?

Why? Why not? Probably because some of the people who did the John Wick franchise also did this movie.
This movie is awesome
I lobe post credit scenes.... i dont mind them....
Come on man, i mean you go and "ok he's gonna steal that car... and he has a secret life.... and that guy will do that..." I don't mind a second review of a movie but don't go "first time watching" when you obviously didn't.

Okay let’s not act like this is a super complex plot. I’ve seen the trailer and all john wick movies, plot isn’t that hard to figure out. This movie is again more focused on making cool action not like super complex, unpredictable plot.
The kill squad at his house was using suppressors. Its unlikely you would be able to hear the reports inside the next door neighbors house from suppressed subsonic rounds inside his.
There are many "favorite lawyers" ... but they are all REAL lawyers like Camille Vasquez and Ben Chew ... and the whole bunch of "lawtube" lawyers starting with Rekieta Law, Uncivil Law, Good Lawgic, Legal Bytes, Andrew Branca, ... because "watching actual court cases" is far more entertaining than scripted series.
Sadly, going into this movie KNOWING ahead of time that it was put together by the same writer/director of John Wick, and then INSTANTLY starting to make comparisons to John Wick, completely DETRACTS from the enjoyment of this movie. Reaction came across more of "Man, I want to see John Wick all over again" than anything close to "Let's see how this movie does ON ITS OWN". It is like going to see a new Star Wars movie but have a conversation in the theater about Star Trek. Two different properties, should be treated separately. The WHOLE concept of a secret government agent was ruined by instantly commenting on the "secret life" that you shouldn't be anywhere close to knowing about. Not to mention the whole concept of "gold bars, not gold coins in the basement" ruins the entire concept of Hutch having either "stolen gold" or possibly even a "secret stash" that was worth around 500K or more to buy the company to turn into his own murder-house gets RUINED by constantly mentioning that gold was used in John Wick. Gold is MORE VALUABLE than any single currency in the world right now. When a single OUNCE of it can go for well over 100 dollars, imagine how much a BAR is worth. And it is something that is easily traded because anyone can take a gold bar, melt it into a "nugget" of several ounces/pounds and pawn off for UNTRACEABLE cash. So, any time that someone who is working "behind the scenes" (Be it government or criminal) is going to have some "spare gold" hanging around SOMEWHERE to be used to buy (barter) something that leaves no paper-trail to follow. That is NOT a "John Wick thing", that is something that has been going on for several 1000's of years around the world.
You ruined your reaction by talking through the best fight scene , so really everything you said during that time was pointless.
