Noah Lyles is an extremely talented athlete. Although he might threaten the world record in the 200 one day, his best mark in the 100 is less than stellar. But times don't matter much if you are the first across the line. I'm sure he has a few more good years ahead of him. Regardless, I've always found his demeanor to be rather obnoxious. Although I can't call myself a fan, I wish him well.

Knighton called for the battle the prior race. He said it wasn’t done when Noah beat him. So 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m from Australia. Regardless of the sport when it comes to International competition I nearly always want the team with the culture closest to Australia’s to win. The exception is basketball. I would be surprised if there aren’t millions of people outside of the USA who are annoyed that Americans call their domestic competition winners World champions.

You are absolutely right. Usain was very likeable. He never tried to throw other athletes under the bus or personally humiliate them in front of the camera. He even took up for Justin Gatlin when the media tried to label Justin as a cheat for failing 1 drug test. People are just agreeing with Noah because of the hate and disgust that the world have about American NBA players dominance over the last 25 years until the last 2 or 3 years. Plus there's that commercial for the Olympics that has Lyle's in a golden cape winning the 100.
