Yoda was 864 when Qui-Gon died in The Phantom Menace. So Yoda would have been alive during the High Republic at 200 years old. So he SHOULD be in The Acolyte!

The show was also never asked for. The show was only in production for a year meaning it's most likly rushed. The only good posible reason why it may be good is the cast members. And even that's a streach.

Ah, so it not having Yoda is why a series not about Yoda and doing its own thing in the star wars universe is why it will fail. Not anything actually of value like lack of things to do with the story or the actual plot that you haven't seen, but the fact one character from another part of the series isn't forced in because the universe is connected.

At the end of the high republic beginning of the acolyte Yoda because of his age would still have been the grandmaster of the Jedi order. You are the grandmaster when you are older than everybody else and wiser than everybody else so it only makes sense to have Yoda in this series at sometime at some point. Even if it’s five minutes on the last episode. You have to pay off that line in episode one of the Phantom Menace or Yoda says “Two there are, a master in an apprentice.” How would he know that? This is the perfect opportunity to pay that off on why he would know that. If he is 800 years old or 850 years old in the acolyte and the Sith war ended a millennia before that he wasn’t even born yet and how would he know that? Also, the Republic banned the Sith language. We find this out in episode nine when they’re trying to get C-3PO to read The Dagger. So they’re gonna have to pay that off, soon.

Facts plus this isn’t about the skywalker saga it takes place like 300 years before the phantom menace comes the only reason to have yoda in there is cuz technically he was a Jedi during the high republic era, other than that, even in cannon, yoda wasn’t a super high ranking Jedi until events shortly right before Phantom menace so it still really wouldn’t make sense to see yoda…maybe Yaddle if anything…yoda pretty much took her spot on the council when Dooku killed her after qui gon died

@@TheForceFandom Actually, according to reports of goings-on behind the scenes at LucasFilm/Disney, there *won't* be a Season 2. It got canceled because the reception to the trailer/PR Tour was so abysmal, and Leslie Headland was apparently fired from a bunch of other related projects. Which, given how the show is _checks rotten tomatoes_ down to 22% (only 2% higher than the infamous Star Wars Holiday special) in terms of audience scores (the fact the critics were rating it higher than seasons 1 & 2 of the Mandalorian up until ep. 3 dropped, causing the critic score to go all the way down to 85%, shows they have no idea what they're talking about)... Disney/Lucasfilm probably made the correct call on canceling season 2 before the show aired. Especially given how poorly written (even by Star Wars standards) and paced it is.

Mando survived pretty well on its own in it's own 'pocket of the Star Wars galaxy for a season or 2, so the chance for potential is there. Personally I'm just going: "give us a Dash Rendar bounty hunter character and have him do bounty work on the seedier side of the Star Wars galaxy, away from prying eyes of the New Republic. We've got ALL of Hutt Space/Wild Space/Unknown Regions/Deep Core to work with and none of its really being utilized." I have no faith in Star Wars being good anymore at this point, but we've proven with shows like Andor/Mando season 1 that you don't NEED to have lightsabers swinging around to be a good Star Wars story.
