Katya works as a translator for a large company and is raising her daughter alone. Due to a heavy workload which spills over into her weekends, Katya often has conflicts with her boss, Andrey Viktorovich. Ultimately, he dismisses her, but asks her to go with him on a business trip "for one last time" - to spend a weekend in a country house located in the woods, where the company has scheduled an important series of business meetings. Andrey’s partners assume Katya to be his wife, and, as the house has no vacant rooms, Katya and Andrey, who despise each other, have no option but to go through with the pretense of being a married couple and share the same bedroom.

Haven't you noticed? Films have sold and pushed and glorified children as privileged, pampered, selfish, spoiled brats ever since Shirley Temple became America's sweetheart; and that was almost 90 years ago. The "me" generation in the 1990's has now turned into the 'selfie' generation of pure self-absorbed narcissism. Civilization is based on Hedonism... Spoiled children are just one symptom of the disease.

Spoiled children are just one symptom of the over-all disease of civilization which is hedonism... Why do you think we have trillions of tons of plastic in the oceans and nobody gives a sh*t? Movies have sold children as pampered, spoiled rotten selfish brats ever since Shirley Temple.

And, of course, Great to see how the two of them successfully reeducate the man and turn him into a decent human being. 🙂 Hope the Animal-murdering option shall be cancelled for the following day, as well as all the other days, too.
