No sugar, no butter, no wheat! Low carb cake with 1 orange 🍊
This melt-in-the-mouth orange cake is made from almond flour and a whole orange - both the flesh and the peel. To do this, the orange is boiled in water for an hour until it becomes soft. The peel of cooked oranges becomes less bitter. Then fragrant and tasty puree is made from oranges. Almost all of the fiber in an orange is used this way. This type of consumption slows down the absorption of sugars from fruit while preserving aroma and flavor as much as possible.
The cake is low carb, gluten free and sweetened with stevia.
INGREDIENTS:
✔️ 125g Almond Flour.
✔️ 1 orange washed of wax and preservatives.
✔️ 3 egg whites.
✔️ 1 teaspoon baking soda.
✔️ 0.5 teaspoon orange extract.
✔️ 0.5 teaspoon liquid stevia (or to taste).
✔️ a handful of flaked almonds (for decoration).
Bake at 180*C for 50-55 minutes or until an inserted wooden skewer comes out clean.
Total per 100 grams:
Calories - 240.36 kcal.
Protein - 11.82 g.
fat - 19.55 g.
Carbohydrate - 8.39 g.

Super Rezept. Ich habe 3 Mandarinen genommen, 3 Eigelb mit den 3 Eiweiß, 100 gr Mandelmehl und 25 gr Kokosmehl, gemahlenes Erythrit, kein extra Aroma und den Teig als Muffins für 20nMin gebacken. Es schmeckt klasse. Danke für das Rezept.

Из желтков можно сделать заварной крем как раз к кексу!! Разрезать вдоль,промазать,получив настоящий торт!,это к примеру, просто сверху крем уложить тоже славно очень

Будьте осторожны. Большое количество желтков может навредить организму. Лучше покупайте пастеризованные белки. Они сейчас продаются практически везде.

It's a bit more work, but if you peel the orange, and use the flesh along with only the grated outer orange peel, you'll avoid the bitter white pith.

Good tip. Personally though, I love the white pith because it has as much or more vitamin C than the orange flesh, plus other nutrients and fiber. And when eaten together with the orange flesh, the bitterness isn't noticeable. If it still seems that way at first, then regularly eating it will make your taste buds quickly adjust.

Et quand j'ai vu votre recette, délicieuse et si légère (j'ai un régime à suivre depuis quelques années, et les recettes de gâteaux sucres mais allégés en sucre et savoureux, sont parfois pas simples à faire, meme si il y en a de plus en plus en vegan). Ja, wobei ich wunder mich, dass die gesünderen Rezepte aus historischen Zeiten so verschütt gegangen sind bzw. in der modernen Trend-Küche nicht landen. Nussmehle haben ja durchaus ihre Tradition z.B. deutsche Elisen-Lebuchen oder spanischer Mandelkuchen. Anstatt Zucker hat man früher Honig genomme (Honigkuchen), wobei bezüglich Kohlenhydraten und Fett Xylit/Erythrit natürlich besser ist.

warum kommen die Eigelbe da nicht mir rein und 50 Minuten erscheinen mir für so einen kleinen Kuchen sehr viel, wird er nicht zu trocken? Was meinen Sie als Konditormeister? 😊

@@gigi2091Tja, da Mandelmehl schon viel Fett enthält, und die Orangen den Kuchen schön saftig machen,hat man wohl die Eigelbe weggelassen. Eigelb macht den Kuchen saftiger, gehaltvoller und der Kuchen würde mehr Kalorien haben. LG Roman
