    Just a quick tip.. Heat degrades batteries and many other things. If you pop open the hood of your vehicle after driving it, the heat under the hood (heat soak) will ventilate out and that will keep the temperature under the hood about 40F to 50F cooler. There's a lot of expensive components under the hood (computers, alternators, belts hoses, plastic components, battery, etc). The cooler temps will prolong their lifespan. Just be sure and close the hood before driving (some cars will warn you that hood/door is ajar). Have fun out there!

    Cigarette lighter charging gets you about 100watts per hour. Ecoflow 800watt alternator charger gets you upto 800 watts per hour. Only for Ecoflow Delta 2 series and Delta Pro and Delta Max 2000. ( but also allows reverse charging and trickle charging, cost is $599 unless a bundle deal ) Pecron 500watt car charger gets you upto 500watts per hour. Works on pretty much all power stations. ($149 but sometimes on sale) Victron 400w DC-DC converter gets you upto 400watts per hour. Works on pretty much all power stations. ($220 approx) These work by sending excess alternator power in through the solar charge controller (mppt). Essentially disguised as solar power input. One concern would be drawing too much power from an alternator that can't handle it. Most newer SUVs and trucks have heavy duty alternators.

    After hearing about everyone's issues with the larger power stations, the next one I buy will be the 1200 watts Egretech power station I already have one and can run my ten qt fridge on it for three days. This station is just as good as these high dollar ones, and the lpo4 battery in it takes less than two hours to charge. Plus I bought a 200 watt solar panel foldable kind, only cause that is the most this power station can handle. This is the best value for my money.

    Glad to see the DC charging is working out so well for you! Since I'm also heading for this capability, I do have a question about it. As you probably understand, not only the battery needs protection from being drawn down -- the alternator itself can be damaged by overheating if too much current is demanded from it. So, is there a minimum amperage rating of alternator for a given recharge load -- and can protection from alternator damage be obtained even with a smaller alternator by capping maximum demand? Thanks!

  • @BrookeandPippa

    @BrookeandPippa

    18 күн бұрын

    You could look up the specifics of the alternator you have and in the app you can actually set the wattage it pulls lower than 800w if you’re concerned about the health of the alternator. It also never goes above 800w and is for a very short (relative) time period when it’s pulling the maximum amount. I rarely see it staying at 800w when I’m tracking it on the app. It does a good job self regulating

    Vans provide slightly more “living space” which is honestly nice. Cargo vans also have more clearance if you are doing the boondocking thing. SUVs are much easier to find affordable options that have AWD/4WD. Also much easier to find lower mileage in SUVs for less than a van these days. A lot of SUVs will get better gas mileage too if you aren’t towing. Currently I’m loving the space that the van provides. I don’t even have an extended version or a high top and I’ll admit it’s more comfortable than the CRV or Pilot for full time living. That being said if I ever found a good deal on a 4WD SUV I’d buy it and gut it for camping for sure!

    Looks like you've lost weight. Your face looks so much less puffy ❤ please don't be mad if not but you look beautiful either way.... and to those ragging on me, it's not saying anything against her. I'm saying maybe it's her going gluten free, idk. But sugar apparently causes us to look puffy and have more inflammation. So to those refuting my question, I say get over yourself. If everything someone says is going to make you feel you need to be offended, you missed the point of life. We are allowed to be human and ask questions. It's pathetic how everyone is so sensitive, you don't know that I weigh 200 pounds.... you don't know what I look like. So, get over yourself thinking we can't ask a question. Perhaps it's camera angles idk. I'm not saying anything against her. As someone pointed out, her hair is longer. That could be it. To the rest of you, get over it!

    Why do you feel the need to comment on someone’s body? The status of her weight is none of your business.

    @@amr0927relax lady, people who want to make money making videos realize it’s all fair game, it goes with the territory. It’s not bothering her so why let it bother you.

    Commenting like that about someone’s weight and appearance is tacky and rude. You’re a classless twat if you think that’s “fair game”. Influencers are people and Brooke is out here being real as hell living on the road not a beauty youtuber.
