NO QUARTER/DRUM CAM 1 VIEW/DRUMS ONLY

Музыка

*First of two videos. For those interested ... I am uploading two more videos which are of my recent cover of No Quarter. This is the first one which is only the drums as recorded on my Zoom Q2N , from the overhead perspective. The reason is to show the complete point of view, visually and sonically from each camera.
The sound captured on the camera mic is obviously different from the multi track mix, so I thought it would be of interest to hear the lower fidelity recording of the drums. Also, each camera offers a different sonic perspective because of their placement.

Great George, thanks for all your hard work and sharing with us all. Most people don't understand how we drummer spend years trying to figure out Bonzo's drumming. And here you are making it look easy. But definitely easier said than done. God Bless Super Brother!

I like the overhead view better than the side view, so I can keep an eye on your bass drum foot.

Understood, but one thing I don't like about the overhead view is you don't get a feel for the dynamics or the stick stroke as well as from the side angle. You can better sense the 'feel' I think from the side/front angle. Also the force of the stroke.

@@DAGDRUM53 true! I need to experiment a little more with the angle, maybe bring it over to the left side but then the 18 will be in the way

@@BONHAMOLOGY Or do a split screen or main screen with a smaller window open (on the big cymbals) if that's not cost prohibitive in the editing/visual gear upgrade dept.

I'll experiment. Do you mean constantly have the overhead , with a smaller inset of the other angle? I like having a full screen image for variety , and to demonstrate the dynamics better.

Any chance on uploading the drum version without the edits during the keyboard notes, I would like to use it as a backing track.

Sorry , I didn't keep those sections. I chopped them out when I made the vids. You can do an edit if you're familiar with using iMovie or another video editor like Final Cut.
