1/2 tsp salt

If your going to use a wok (kawali) there's no
need to use egg wash
for oven baking you can egg wash your HOPIA

@@emaluzabautista4880 hindi, you will bake it or cook it sa kawali mahinang apoy lang with cover. Diba tustado ang hopia. Mahinang apot lang para maluto ang dough.

Steamer? I think di pede ksi dapat tuyo ang labas di basa. Sa Steamer water ang gamit e basa.
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. Not only is it simple to understand but you share also ways and hacks on how to make them allowing many who might not have the convenience of an oven. Fortunately I have the means but sometimes I get intimidated by the oven. Temperature or timing is always my problem. I've seen many version of making hopia but never attempted to make because I thought it would be too much of a process. I think I might really try to make it this time. I love hopia but always end up having to buy store bought ones.

For the filling, you can just buy grated ube and condensed milk and mix it in the kawali until Kumunat na.
