The thing about lighthouses is that they AREN’T a sign of safety, but danger. They are there to signal to ships that land is near so they don’t run aground. When you see a lighthouse you definitely do not want to go towards it, at least if you’re in a ship you don’t.

That's true... I guess growing up where I did and spending a lot of time near the beaches and the Outer Banks, seeing light houses from the shore side, it feels a lot more 'protective', since they're like a barrier to the dangers that might come towards the island. But at sea, they're a different thing entirely...

Glad you enjoyed this game! I enjoyed it very much too. You’ve probably figured this out in the meantime, but there are a few different endings and it all gets a bit ‘inland empire’ for the best one. Those bits where you control the monster are, i think, supposed to be difficult, and perhaps representative of the monster’s sense of terror at being ‘born’.

Awww, why'd I think this was about the 2018/19(?)/(20?) Film w 'William Defoe & Robert Pattinson' A24 psychological thriller, "The Lighthouse"? Because i literally just watched it last week and have yet to piece it together to make a coherent storyline out of it, which is an interesting story (but much like SH..) i havent tries toto make sense of how it played out 😮😅🎉
