I've had good experience with the triggerless cups mounted on 5 gallon buckets. Great vid.

I mad a 55 gallon barrel with these cups and I love them my chicken always have water and they were easy to install

I LIKE!! Thanks!! I have a blind hen that, as this cup fills automatically with water, I think she can use this style (versus either the trigger style or horizontal nipple)!! The other hens, in with her, drink from the cups, but I keep a trough style waterer filled with water for her.

That was great thanks! I just got my new Cluckers today and I'm charging my drill batteries. I was a little nervous so I thought I'd look here. The instructions say 5/16 drill bit? Well I will give it a go thanks again😃

I have those but they always get bumped to the side and the tiny plastic piece comes out of the hole and it stays down / a little to the side and all the water leaks out. Any brands w longer plastic pieces on the side ?

Where else can I get these newer cups. What is its official name?

I am about to purchase these drinkers. What size of rubber hose should I use?

Does the third, newer style, thread into the same 3/8” screw pvc t-fitting that the original ones do? In other words, can I just unscrew the old ones and screw in the new?

It doesn't unfortunately, they are different thread sizes.

If you mount the cups a couple inches up then those last couple of inches of water cannot be accessed (not a big deal but...). You want to drill/mount as low as possible. The wing nut not being able to spin because of contact with the bottom is a good point...but you could hold the wing nut in one position and just spin the whole cup assembly til it is snugged up... just a thought...

You don't need the wing nuts as long as you have the rubber washer

My cups keep overflowing, they don’t seem to cut off properly, any ideas please

Show how to install the white cups please

I'm curious. Will chicken nipple waterers be better? If not why?

They are technically better but problem is getting the chickens to learn to use them as a water source. But they're good because water is always clean.

Can you add a link as to where to buy the new cups please
