Gotta remember that while they do maintenance the system is huge and not every place gets maintenance when needed.

Spending unnecessary revenue, wasting excess money, uncontrollable workers and contractors expenses, appointing unskilled employees. What are the results of current MTA situation? Non-working Standing MTA employee and contractors everywhere.

Someone is doing this purposely.. the other day overheard the MTA workers talking about I was being slashed what better way to get more hours than create accidents.. I've been in New York 37 years and never has it ever been two derailments in my. Life time..back to.back... all this construction happening and they not even make sure and they putting everything back together

They cant afford it since all available $$$ is going to the house, feed, cloth and anything else the special people need. They come first to liberal NYC politicians before voters and tax payers.

How are there 2 derailment in less than a week? A coincidence? Not!

Budget cuts it’s gonna get a whole lot worse.

Here's an idea MTA. Run your Geometry train 6x a year.

Train inspections are done once every quarter per section and inspected physically twice a week ...

No good and the 1 train two stops from my job had the same thing and I work on 110th street and I was almost on 96 street train and I’m lucky. And just hearing this, it’s like do the MTA even pay attention what they’re doing because obviously they do not.

It's like I bearly didn't even have the right just watching the two train cars bumbing into each other like that's crazy one's again i swear

NYC in a fucking nutshell, this city is becoming third world right before your eyes.

other cities have derailments. Boston's system required whole lines to be shut down for months to correct problems.

@@innachkasab7310the train have derailed numerous times. I could name 3 just off the top of my head. The A Train two times in 2017 and 2020. The F train as well but can’t remember the date.
