What comes to my mind is the feeling of injustice when parents spank / punish the child otherwise for doing the same things they do. Example would be the rule in my childhood / youth that it wasn ok to yell / raise your voice in anger / frustration which was bad when i did , not bad / ok when they did it. Theres a problem with accepting "authority" if said authority (parents or laws too) is hyppocritical. Sure its important to control your temper. Just seems odd when you expect sth from your child which you cant manage yourself. Ok people arent perfect. That said. But not acknowleding your own mistakes / inconsistency as a parent isnt going well, the point being narcicissistic traits / overall generational trauma that gets passed on. On the side, im new as a believer at 32 , just diving into it. Baptism is on the list for next year. Daily bible study still is hard.

Today the Dumb Blind Idiotic parents are just talking, but doing Nothing. I see even my friends , how they are more afraid of the socials , than to spoil their own children with No Actings. So, i Am now , after almost 50 years Thankful to Lord God, for letting my earthly father, to beat the shitty evil crap out of me, on sooo many beatings, that i had one ear longer than another , by pulling me so hard for it , plus breaking many wodden broom handles on my back , lifting me for my ears and carrying me for my ears while kicking me in my butt by every step he made .... but, some of my brothers got it even worse. Unfortunately I feel this way about god. When I suffer affliction, which is regularly and even when I do the right thing, I get no answer from god as to why. I pray to the ceiling and hear nothing. I give an inch and people take a mile. I do bad and feel sick, but I also can feel sick when I try to break out and do good. I have no way of knowing anything.

Jackie I don't want to ever go back to church. Two (churches) have by the understanding of an agreement or a visual memory that haunts me to my core. Because of the slowness of my heart. They threw away my handshake in each of them (each church the same) Literally right hand to right hand and throwing it to an empty side. I was lead ya Bible study once in a retirement home and I thought some who were there would have a heart attack when someone asked me if I was going to celebrate the upcoming Christmas? I answered, “No, I celebrate Christ everyday not on just one day in the year.” Well, that went over kinda ok. ❤

Also, the Bible doesn't say to celebrate Jesus's birth. Christmas was celebrated before Jesus's birth in Egypt and was adopted by the Catholic church.

Thank you for this video, Jackie. Although it ends a bit abruptly, it's still so emotional, so powerful and so fascinating to behold, as all your videos. You're truly blessed with a gift of preaching, a gift of sermon. I guess this concept of ''reverend fear'' in Christianity is one of the hardest for me to understand and accept. For my personal experience tells me that fear is an emotion or a sense produced by some kind of negative communication with some object hostile to us. We fear someone or smth. because we are afraid of what that person or that thing may do to us, in the negative sense, because of the possible harm he/she/it may impose on us. And if perfect love completely destroys any fear... What John tells us about. If you love Jesus, how can you fear Him? What does that mean? If we turn to some mundane analogies, can we compare it to the fear of inflicting harm to your beloved one? For instance, if you do love your partner, you don't fear him/her, but rather you fear doing smth. because your actions may hurt the one you love? So, maybe, it's a fear not towards the other person, but rather towards yourself, for you start getting afraid of doing smth. which may distance you from the one you love? Sorry, I don't know to what extent these worldly analogies are applicable to the spiritual world and to such subtle matters as the love to God. You know, Jackie, my mum used to tell me that Lord punished no one... And that the human beings themselves punish them with falling into sin and having to face the consequences of it... Seemingly, in this video of yours I find a proof to my mother's words.

I’m still trying to come back, but I still associate God with the worst anxiety and demonic attacks of my life. I’m so terrified of Him because after the first time I sinned against Him (only like a week after being born again) I ended up getting demonically attacked and continued running away from God out of intense anxiety, fear, lack of prayer, and lack of sleep. After a month the Holy Spirit left and I physically felt it. At the time I had no real christians in my life and was going to a once saved always saved church. Anyways, I’m always terrified to come as I am because I’m scared of the same demonic torture I went through the first time. And when I do come as I am, sometimes I feel a glimmer of hope and start to feel a wave of the Holy Spirit, then He leaves me high and dry again and I don’t always know what I did wrong. Like why He’s leaving again when I’m trying to follow His guidance. I feel like He won’t help me because I’m not good enough but I can’t be good without His help because everything in the flesh is filthy rags. I know that Jesus took it all on the cross and He was perfect. I’ve also heard such powerful testimonies of backsliders being restored by His grace, but I’m getting so impatient and broken waiting

Yep that's how I feel I used to go to church but I felt unworthy as I was drinking excessively back then and I felt that I was intentionally sinning and that I did not belong there. I had to give up the drink but I am still weak. I try my best to do the right thing (in God's eyes). I always used to say this too "the Sunday Christian" then back to their mean ways mon-sat. I'm not saying they are all like this. I went to a wonderful church were they were ready to baptize me but I did not feel worthy of this as I was still (and still am) a sinner.
