"Pray according to his will" That's a very powerful part. It's vital that we don't treat God as a servant when praying. He's the ultimate parent, friend, confidant. I prayed with passion that God would fill me with his presence and nothing happened. I’m reading my Bible, praying, giving thanks to him, and fasting and yet nothing is happening. Was it just not his will for some people to never experience his presence?

@upbestsalt1551 God heard your prayer and maybe he felt what you was asking for wasn't gonna be good for you in the long-term. He has something better for you. You have to have faith in what you talk to him about. The fact that you are alive to even type that comment means his grace is with you right now. Don't get mad cuz you didn't get what you want. God will give you what you need in his time. That's all I can tell you man. Trust me, I get down when things don't go how I wanted but I know God has better in store for me at the right appointed time. So keep that in mind.

​@upbestsalt1551 well you need to be obeying his word and be patient. Make sure you get baptised if you havent and keep read and applying the bible to your life and he should baptise you with the holy spirit when he chooses to and then you will feel his presence.

I’ve been an outcast on my life and a loner but always always prayed to Jesus even as a little boy I knew that they were the Holy Spirit existed because I would go under my blankets and pray because my dad and my mother would be fighting and I would ask God to stop them from fighting

How cool is God! Just finished reading a church newsletter that went exactly over this subject. And I just finished praying and God is present; and then reinforced my learning with this video. Praise Jesus

This was spot on and I had confirmation with this video too. In 2019 I desperately asked the Lord for money so I could travel to Spain. The Lord gave me 20.000 DkK straight back in taxes (about 3000 USD). It came out of nowhere! I was blown away by God's power and generous blessing. Thank the Lord in Jesus mighty name. Amen

I have some testimony for this specifically: I was in middle school, but I was desperately wishing to meet the girl I liked in elementary school, and I remember crying- begging God to let me see her again. And I kid you not, I received something the very next day. It wasn't my elementary school crush, but a girl I hardly paid attention to whose friend basically said she liked me and asked if I felt the same way. Now, it didn't work out--which was for the best--but what it taught me was that there is love out there. However, I have to find it, and I can't wait around for the next one to make a move. hi Jackie ;) We are all guilty of praying half-heartedly on occasions, I do this too often. I heard a sermon from on prayer once from a well known English evangelist who is now with the Lord. He said in it ' You may not agree but I say that no Christian is more important than his or her prayer life' I often think of this and see how far short I am

I know exactly what you mean about prayer exactly 100%. I’ll tell you a little story right now it was years ago that my neighbor had a tree an improper that was hazardous I mean hazardous like really really dangerous and I kept telling my neighbor that that tree was dangerous And he wouldn’t believe me and then finally I prayed to God Lord open the eyes of my neighbor that that tree is dangerous and then a week later or two a big limb off of that tree fell on my neighbors car and crushed it and that’s when the City Of Burlington Came in and cut that tree down SO YES OUR PRAYERS WORK AND HAVE MUCH POWER IN THWM

It was last year that we had a conference at our church called soul care with Dr. Reimer and it was an amazing conference, and I had a couple of jobs at the conference one was making coffee. One was taking out the garbage in the last one was cleaning the toilets And I felt so good in doing that and I had so many people come up to me and say I’ve never seen them so clean I had our church custodian come up to me and say, wow Joel you do a better job than me at cleaning. The toilets

Last year at this time my mom was very sick and I prayed with passion for her to recover. I felt at peace after I prayed like I had a feeling my prayer was being answered. My mom did recover from her illness and is doing well today a year later. Almost every day I pray for my friend who has been hurting for a few years. I've gotten little clues on what it could be. So I pray she finds love and happiness and peace and can be a vibrant and happy person. This prayer hasn't been answered yet. I think God will inspire her to work on herself and become a better person and be that happy person.

Its his will and your sincere about your prayers. Pray bold prayers too claim it and receive it that its already done in his will. We have to obey him what ever he ask us to do we have to do it and leave the results up to him. Don't try and figure out it out just obey him no matter how big or small it is.
