I've seen several youtubers especially from japan and korea, who had their first taste of different malaysian food, commenting (this food) is easy on the palate, and they continued, commenting the food would likely be liked by their countrymen. I think the most popular japanese youtuber among malaysians, ichang and husband jimmy, have also made such remarks before. To be completely honest, despite the fact that I used to encourage my international friends to travel there whenever they visited Malaysia, despite being a Malaysian myself, I had never been there before. Is the foreign worker from Indian, Indonesia, and etc they come to Malaysia to work. Its always been like this since before 2000 as far as I know. The gov Malaysia need to implement like a leaflet or book to foreign worker that when they come here to Malaysia for work they need to keep the place clean. Someone must really act soon lol. I also lived in Kl Bukit Bintang area for a short time back in 2000, back of building where the rubbish bin are, they just chuck the rubbish from the top of building I've seen it myself. I was disappointed why Malaysia gov didn't set some kind of rule to foreign worker who lives and work in KL area. Gutted... 😔

@@ukchub6633 - It's true what you mentioned without a doubt. Most Malaysians are conscious of the importance of cleanliness. Regrettably, Malaysia employs a large number of foreign workers who are unable to keep our country clean. They continue to be enslaved by their old habits and lack environmental stewardship. In fact, some of them opt to be beggars because they are aware of Malaysians' charitable nature. When visitors cannot tell locals from foreign workers, they are to blame for damaging the reputation of our country. As long as they do not face harsh punishment from the authorities and as long as situations like these are challenging to handle effectively.

It's great that you also asked them the not so good experiences, and to be more specific about it too, for eg to point out more specifically where was it dirty. Hopefully the people in those places as well as the relevant authorities would take note and act immediately to rectify the situations. About not liking the food, that is a very subjective issue and we cannot be surprised too much by it. For example someone may not like chilli and hot food, which is everywhere in malaysia, just like many people do not like durians, which are also everywhere in malaysia hahah! Again, good job! Stay safe, have fun, and keep it up 👍

Heck I even once read about an Indonesian not liking our food bcoz they are just too curry-ly (???) But in a way I can understand it. And yeah...go travel! Other countries' food in your country is rarely gonna be the same as in the original place where they come from.
