Help Craig! My ex started seeing a new therapist 2 mos ago the dsy after she broke it off. I did a couple mild text reach outs after 1 week of NC after. She responded to one and said she cared and still does are but needed some time to work on her(she lost a child last year) but didn’t understand why i perceived she needed space. Then out of no where she blocked me. I left one nice message a week later from another phone and nothing since i have been in NC about 6 weeks now. Feel pretty good & doing well professionally etc but it’s a definite challenge maintaining NC Im a fixer.

No contact is for attraction during the dating phase. It does not create the necessary feeling of safety, quite the opposite, for long term serious relationships

Oh and here’s the other thing, yes it helps the attraction phase i agree, and @moisesreyes4933 your words say I didn’t get my ex back but then u state at the end of that you feel good- that was my sign when I realized it was because I did in fact actually have my ex back , I could feel it. it just wasn’t society’s definition of what having someone back looks like 😉

@Nicole-yz7bo update on my situation. My ex texted me to say happy birthday and that week she came and stayed the night but the next day I realized it wasn't meant to be. She tried to talk to me a few times after that but I just kept it short so she got the clue. She deleted her social media and I haven't talked to her since and honestly I feel good now.

Starting no contact was the craziest idea to me, but I ended up healing and my ex has tried getting back together 3 times now which Iv happily declined 😊 #content

My ex left me and dated around loads, I was in a really bad situation. I half hearted follow these advices. I started watching lots of these youtube. FROM my experiences find a channel that give sound advice (this one is good) cos if you watch multi channel sometime it can be conflicting and you be mess up. I did No contact and she did come back. However, I was so happy that i worship her instead of holding her accountable. OF course she left.😅 Anyway after 6 year i study and learn and heal. Now ina relationships with a woman i couldn't ever dream off and no my eyes is still.open and not wearing rose glasses. Keep it up guys if you are going thru a break up. They is always hope and both in that you ex could come back and if not it is still possible to find someone else better. But CRAIG Right. You do need to work on yourself.

This only matters if they felt love or deep feelings for You Think about when You’ve left somebody You knew wasn’t the one You really wanted You probably didn’t look back

Agree! I walked away from my boyfriend he was the most verbally abusive guy Ive ever dated. His anger and mouth got worse and worse. I never grew deep feelings. He was so abrasive and miserable. I have to say Im at peace. My health is better too. I'm 69, I hope to make it to 70-yrs-old now! I do not want to date right now! I'm good.

I don't have contact for almost 3 years. It's sad but I found my way.

😂😂😂😂 on the handwritten letter note- go ahead and do it just don’t give the letter to anyone! Nobody but you, yourself, and I lol very important……but put it in ur drawer when ur finished and leave it alone lol……This worked amazing for me when the anxious side of me freaked out like he was talking about (aka 7 page letter 😂) ……it’s weird, it like let’s you get it out and kinda still feels like they receive what they need to from it on an energetic level and that’s when I always see “feelings change” like he says in the video.

Going into six months of radio silence. He hooked up with his neighbour three weeks post breakup. He’s severily avoidant. I became anxious in our connection. I miss him deeply and still suffer immensely at how things ended out of the blue. It feels like he ended it because he caught feelings, not because of the reasons he gave. Should I just let go and move on for good? This is the most painful breakup I’ve ever been through.

You deserve better. You’ll get better. Feel the feels. Cry as you need. It’s the most painful experience, I’ve been there. When I finally went completely no contact I felt so much stronger. You may always miss them but after a while you realize you miss the potential of them, because the reality is they are not capable of being the partner you need or else they never would rip the cord the way they did. It hurts until it doesn’t, and that’s when you realize you deserve better and can get better. We live in a state of lack when discarded the way avoidants do it. Take your power back. My ex is also avoidant as hell. He just text me yesterday after almost 3 months. He discarded me almost a year ago but wanted to maintain friendship. I tried it for a few months until I realized I’m not really moving on and text him that I need to detach from him and explained how much hurt he caused me throughout the relationship with his hot and cold nonsense. He had pursued me for 2yrs, I finally decided to give him a chance and he was inconsistent, gradually decreased communication and every time I told him this isn’t for me, he acted all upset and convinced me to stay, then ended it after a pregnancy scare. He was insecure about his finances but instead of admitting that, just said I deserve better, and I deserve a family. No discussion, no let’s game plan our future, just, bye, let’s be friends. Smh. Avoidants are going to avoid.

It doesn’t work when you’re both practicing no contact. It’s been over 2 years and he found someone else in less than 4 months because he took my no contact as not being interested in resolving and reuniting. I regret everything that I could’ve have done differently.

If I was her I'd be moving on because it all started from his apparent lack of interest in her. I'm not saying she will but I'd certainly be like, wow, he still doesnt seem enthusiastic about me. But hey that's why I'm not a coach, I just know how I'd react because I'm going through similar.

No contact wont work on my ex, she left family members and best friend's alone, she said she will take no contact to the grave. The day of the breakup she told me she was gone help me get over her, and yelled and caused a scene where the neighbors was looking. It was very embarrassing. Its been two months a reached out once a month ago no response

I initially went no contact after my ex of 4 year broke up with me and I have broken it in 3 days and beg her to stay with me. She told me me to never call her again and unfortunately my anxiety got the best of me in less than 2 weeks after that and I called again. This time she was very angry at me and blocked me every where. Do no contact still work in my case? I am anxious and she is avoidant.

What do you do when no contact brings them back, you have a nice conversation, make plans, but they don’t prioritize you and make you feel rejected all over again? Go back to no contact I assume? I stuck up for myself, said how I felt, and now I’m not contacting her. It’s still very hurtful though. I’m not sure if her intentions were genuine or if it was solely an ego boost that I responded to her. She seems like she doesn’t care now. Whether she does or doesn’t, I don’t know.

@@joejohnson5870 Thanks man. She offered a friendship, but I didn’t feel that was right after a year and a half of being together and discussing marriage. I put up a boundary respectfully and said it’s best we go our separate ways. We have been in no contact a month. It’s hard and I miss her, but i’m doing the best I can. I don’t want to be an option and it sucks because I could be for her at this point. Maybe she really needs time and I understand she has been through bad traumas, but it feels like I’ve been put on the side while she lives her life. Saying no if she comes back will be difficult for me. I get you have to value yourself, but the whole thing stinks. I could take her back because I love her or not take her back because I value yourself and lose our relationship and life together anyway. It feels like a lose lose. Maybe I’m looking at it wrong.

I don't see how this applies if they blocked you 2 days after. I didn't beg or plead, she left randomly saying she needed to be single and never healed from past traumas, relationships. She also has BP and BPD. Don't think this one is coming back

If she has BP and BPD, and hasn't healed from past traumas, then count yourself very lucky that the relationship ended and you are still in one peace. What ever pain you experienced in the breakup is minor compared to what you'd experience had you stayed with her. Wish her well (silently) and move on.

"No contact" means don't initiate contact for any reason. No birthdays, no holidays, no anniversaries. Also no indirect messages via social media posts. It doesn't matter what he thinks or feels. He has to experience the consequences of the breakup, including not knowing what you are doing, what you are feeling, etc.

If you live together with kids. Is offering my wife tea a form of contact that I shouldn’t do? I am not chasing her btw.

no contact really works, I did no contact as he asked for some space and then after only 5 days he emailed me today!, and yet today is his birthday and he said he can’t last his birthday without me! it’s important to let your partner to miss you during no contact. thanks Craig!

wrong.. ex's come back when you no longer long for them.. in my experience more times than I can count.. that was before I delved into doing the work.. now women try to get me to take them out, they even try to trick me into going out with them.. just wake tf up and do the work
