Today my co-host Barbara Reade and I had the pleasure of chatting with California-based artist Isabelle Alessandra. Known for her gorgeous abstract, mid-century and contemporary paintings, Isabelle shared her recent experience with showing in the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts show with us.
We also chatted about authenticity in your art, her story of becoming a painter in her 50's (and all the things in her previous careers that paved the way for this re-invention), helpful advice for artists wanting to show their work at an art fair and the reminder that our art doesn't need to be for everybody.
