Hello Mr Bastin, I believe we have answered your question through emails but for others, you need education credentialing for PR but for nursing assessment NNAS follows their own process and it is completely separate to immigration proceedings. Hope it helps!

Hi Nat, It is true that if you do not meet the required criteria for your language proficiency then NNAS will not process your application. However, it can not be said about CNO in Ontario. They require language proficiency proof at the end of your registration process. That means you can even write your national licensing exam if you qualify and will have to provide IELTS scores at the very end. Moreover, you can try CELBAN if IELTS is looking hard to crack. Hope it helps! Do not hesitate to contact us for further information!

Hello Cloud Anime, thank you for contacting FBNPC. Language proficiency is one of the very strict requirements for all Internationally Educated Nurses by almost all of the nursing regulatory bodies in Canada. Some provinces can relax this requirement but you need to contact that Nursing Regulatory Body to request for exemption. Also, you might be out of safe practice period if you have not practiced nursing in about and over 5 years. You can contact us through www.fbnpc.com for further information. Hope it helps!

All you have to do is to log into your NNAS account and send this advisory report to your Nursing regulatory body directly from there. They will take some time and make a final decision whether to give you direct eligibility to write licensing exam or have some further requirements to be fulfilled. Hi Quinelyn thank you for your questions. Yes, you can apply to NNAS while on student permit. If you have studied in Ontario and have some work experience then you can request to exempt the language requirement. However, outcome is case based. On the other hand if you must provide proof of English proficiency then IELTS is valid only until 2 years and you have to write it again if it expires. Since, CNO does not require proof of English language to start your NNAS process, you can work on it while NNAS is working on your assessment. Hope we have answered your question! If you have further questions, Please email us at nursingprepcenter@gmail.com

Hi Jincy Abraham, Thank you for contacting FBNPC. NNAS assesses your credentials to provide the eligibility to write nursing licensing exam only, they are neither the recruiter or job provider. They do not have a cap on the number of applications that they can process at this point. So answer to your first question is "YES". You can apply to NNAS any time. There are plenty of nursing related jobs in Canada. Based on the city, place of work or choice of unit or specialty, you might face some competition or wait times to get a job. But with flexibility in choosing or accepting , you should be able to get a job after passing your licensing exam. Hope we have answered you question! Hi Indhu, Thank you for contacting Future Building Nursing Prep Center. The provincial or territorial regulatory body whom you will be applying to, can recomend you to write CPNRE/NCLEX and once passed this license will be valid throughout Canada. However, in order to work in other provinces you might have to fulfill a minimum "work hour" requirement! For example, if you write NCLEX on recommendation of CNO and you pass as well. Now, in order to transfer your license to Saskatchewan, SRNA requires to you have completed a minimum of 1125 hours of Nursing practice in the past 5 years. Each province and territory will follow their own regulations that you must comply with. Hope we have answered your question!

NNAS acts on behalf of various regulatory bodies in Canada, so the work experience directly corresponds to the requirements from those bodies. Hi Advika Yes, NCLEX-RN US will be applicable in Canada. However you still have to apply to NNAS and follow the processing. You might have to undergo OSCE exam but not NCLEX (If your NCLEX was recent). Please feel free to email us at feedback@fbnpc.com Thanks

@@normanbriandalangin6092 we don't think so that you can use NNAS report for assesment process in the States. They must follow their own. As NNAS will not accept theirs as well. However, since we don't deal with NYSED or other agencies in the States, it would be best to directly inquire from them.

Hi Harpreet, You can certainly apply for both RN and LPN and based on your qualification and extent of work experience, nursing regulatory bodies in Canada might grant you permission to write NCLEX directly or after full filing some requirements. It is hard to predict upfront and every case is unique. Hope it helps!
