quite simple but i like the detailing of the process. very enjoyable watch
Best video out there for this project. You have the tools and the experience. There are other videos where they work on this way past dark, ha.
Straight and clear and to the point. Excellent video for someone like my self that will always give it a try, just need what you delivered.
Awesome !! This is a very very helpful video
Looks great. 👍
I just completed the rear shackles on my 2008 Nissan Frontier. Here is just a helpful hint. You won't need to use a pry bar if you remove the shocks.

Is it hard to put the shocks backs after?
Ve got the same kit I really need to install it also got UCa’s and cam bolts
had to look twice. I measured and there is a significant height distance at the front. Nice. I have a 2.5 lift. actual is 2" when I checked the manufacture. 2" in the rear which leaves the back still 1" higher than the front.
I'll have a nisssan frontier 2018 to . And I try to do to many changes like you
Great video
Good vid. I've only seen 2 other videos on this kit. I have mine arriving tomorrow for my 17. Should I have bought the cam bolts? The longer ones? Some people say yes and some say no. Kinda wish I had a place here in middle TN that I could rent a lift stall for half a day...lol.
Nice video thanks
I did check the tire clearance. and your tire can be 75. I have 265x70x16 and there is a lot of room all around especially height. However I found out about titan swap. I'm working on that now. there is some added costs but not that much.
Do you have stock size 265/70r16 tires or did you go with 265/75’s? Those wranglers look good
i had legitimate fear for my face and your fingers when you were levering that spring!
Have the kit and a 2012 RWD apprehensive to change the truck- concern is the "coil bucket" contact and detracting from handling: don't want to find out UCAs are al$o needed.
Two years later. Have the UCAs been making contact with the coil buckets? Did you have to change them? I'm looking to do that now.
Nice should of taken off the swaybar end links on both sides and rotated the bar down you would have alot of room to add spacers or put lifted shock and spring
You may want to look at springs in addition to the spacers. I just built a front-mount receiver that's concealed within the factory bumper for my '15, it's heavy enough t take around a quarter inch off my ride height. When I put the winch on a slide-in mount into the receiver I'm down somewhere between 3/4" and 1" from stock. Still haven't settled on what springs I'm going to go with, or what shocks. If I go sort of OE, R51 Nissan Pathfinders had an optional V8, and the front coils were a little bit longer than the factory V6 coils common to both the Pathfinder and the Frontier. They're a possible contender. I'm also looking at aftermarket springs, but haven't yet evaluated shock travel into the equation. I wouldn't mind gaining around an inch of extra height over the stock ride height pre-changes but I don't want to go too crazy.

what I wonder about with the "In addition to" part...it seems like a spacer is going to compress the spring. If you get stiffer springs on top of the spacer compression, wouldn't the truck feel like you're riding on rocks? Wouldn't be better if you need stiffer springs just to get springs and better shocks and ditch the spacer? Just asking.

@@mp-ot7fw Spacer doesn't compress the spring. The spacer lifts the vehicle up relative to the spacer. The spacer goes above the tophat on the strut.

@@TWX1138 You are correct, I am wrong. Sorry and good catch.
Does the kit work on the Desert Runner?
I have a question about do not have to remplace the control Arm because I have a Nissan to but I lifted and make to much noise
What is the kit that you used to lift up the nesan frontier.
I wonder why they went with shackles instead of blocks in the rear ?
What front bumper is that and how much?
Any issues with coil bucket contact?
What size are the duratracs? 70 or 75?
Thanks for the video. Did you notice much change in the ride after installing the lift?
@MattVerley

Nope, pretty much the same as stock. Steering wandered a bit until I got it in for an alignment, but once that was done it feels just like stock.

I got the actual leveling kit and I couldn’t get an alignment without changing my camber bolts to adjustable ones
How much should all that cost? To get done at a shop?
Any interference issues with the upper control arm and the tower with the spacers. Ive been told not to use lift spacers cause of the interference at full droop.
So how does it ride and would you recommend this kit for a daily driver who wants to add trail capability? (Obviously not rock crawling)

How did you drop your sway bar??
Where'd you get that fromt bumper?
Hey Matt, I also use my Frontier for forestry work and need to lift the front up a little - I have airbags in the rear. Do you get any coil bucket contact with the spacers? I ask because you and I are probably driving similar speeds on similar roads. Any help is appreciated. Cheers

I have had no issues with the front spacers, and have around 20,000 miles on gravel roads since I installed them.
No issues with coil-bucket contact? I've read content about how just spacer lifts cause coil-bucket contact due to wheel travel.
Will this work on the pro4x.- 2012
Hey I just installed the Supreme suspensions 3/2" kit which is very similar to the RC kit. However, the rear shackles didnt give me the full 2 inches in lift (only about a half inch - 1) and appeared to almost instantly cause my leaf springs to start forming a "W" instead of the arch they had before. Now my truck is borderline "squatting" and i cant seem to find any help online as to WHY the rear shackles didnt work as they should. Im considering removing the shackles and reinstalling my OEM shackles to preserve the life of my leafsprings and going the AAL route.
@vashman01

Supreme changed their lift kit and replaced the shackles with blocks that fit between the axle and the leaf springs. Doesn't mess with the springs that way and you get the full 2" out of it.
Thanks for all the info, by the way can you tell me what kind of bumper that is for my Nissan frontier 2016

How’s it held up in the past year
Just FYI i cut my exhaust just short of the Axel and made it a downpipe. All to fit my 35 inch spare on the bottom lol kzread.info/dash/bejne/d5mWxNJ-ptHFh7Q.html Downpipe Also this is the way it was first cut until i re-cut to adjust kzread.info/dash/bejne/qIt1qrWjnZe6qto.html
Why not just remove the hangers and bend the stock one back or just get a new cat back?
Rough country says that the exhaust can get in the way
At 10:54 my sway bar on my frontier the bolt behind the one you drilled out rotates with the front. How do you fix this problem to where the boot will come out?

I did; I went an entire year and only took it on one off road trip. I was letting one of my employees use it for work, but it really wasn't ideal for that. Just didn't make sense to keep it if I was too busy to use it. This truck takes its place for work and the occasional overland trip, and I bought a 2nd frontier for my son to drive.
All dogs off-road check their lift kit out
Nice video but I'd never go rough country. Way over priced for a couple blocks of aluminum and couple of plates of metal. I paid right around 30 dollars for my no name spacer kit online. My spacers have held up great for the past 8 months. I haven't had to re tighten them or make any other adjustments so far.
