Today's video is a doozie...my friend and I have never installed a lift kit before, so it is pretty entertaining! There are links below to the tools and the lift kit.

If only we could edit out the background noise if you know what i mean 😂
I've been thinking of doing this myself. Thanks for making the video. And the Peanut Gallery commentary is fantastic!

Glad you enjoyed it!
If you are struggling on a bolt like that and its underneath the truck use a jack you can jack the tool up even if it is several tries to break it loose especially if you are by yourself.
I have the same lift, and those rear leaf springs are designed to give you a 2 inch lift even with 400 pounds of weight in the rear so if you don’t like the rake, put 200 pounds of sandbags in the back and she rides like a dream lol
First bit of advice….get yourself a lil propane torch and heat up any “stuck” nut & bolt assembly. A bit of heat and those “2 men on one breaker bar”, becomes “one guy with a ratchet”!!! Good work men!!
excellent work 👏
Good job. Might be getting a used 2016 Pro-4x soon
Great video brother. Just for the fishing poles consider adding a portarod system. once its set up it can be installed and removed in seconds. It sits in the bed. Its what I'm running on my frontier .
thats dangerous! these guys are lucky the truck did not decide to lay on their lap..
First off, love the vid! This is about the only video I can find to install the Koni kit from AllDogs. Funny commentary and informative where it needed to be. I do have a question though; as far as the 1/2 inch spacer still creating a little rake up front, would you feel it a better option to get a bigger spacer (1" to 2") to help level the truck out? Thanx in advance and can't wait for the next vid drop 🤙🏻

Thanks Randy! I think a 1" would be good, but I haven't measured since the leaves have settled.

Randy, I just wanted to update my reply…AllDogs leaves the rake to allow for heavier loads on the rear, hence the “broverland”. If you level it out completely and add a load to the rear, you’ll have a bit of Carolina squat and blind oncoming traffic
Since you upgraded the upper control arms, have you considered adding a 1 or 1 1/2 inch spacer on the strut instead of the 1/2 inch spacer to get it more level?

Most you can do is the 1/4 spacer that comes with the kit. If you do 1/2 you have to replace the top bolts. If you go any higher the tie rods will be at too extreme of an angle
Great video and nice work making it through the install. Out of curiosity, did you go with the ADO medium or heavy front coil spring? Thanks!

I have the medium springs
What’s the height in the back now that the leaves have settled?

I'll have to get a measurement!

It has now settled 1/2”, so it’s for sure a 2” lift!
Was it a kit? What is the part# for it if it was a kit.

First, I like the topic and am glad you did this video. Less rambling and video/camera attention deficit would make for better content. Just my opinion but still good job overall. Thanks

Thank you for watching. I am clearly not an expert and did not do this for information, only for entertainment value.
Now go ahead and wash your rig bro! 🤣
