Do I need to use consult 3 can I use like a regular laptop?

I have a Nissan Xtrail with the transmission needing to be replaced at 35000 kms, thankfully this has now been approved to be done under warranty and we are just waiting on the transmission to turn up and be installed. Why though is Nissan still using these transmissions that they know have been faulty for years. This after buying cars for 40 years is the first car I have had that has ever had transmission problems.

IM ABOUT TO ASK THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION EVER. WHAT CITY AND STATE ARE IN, AND HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR SERVICES YOU'VE JUST DISPLAYED.

Can i replace an used cvt assy or used valvebody assy

DID YOU FILL THE TRANS FIRST OR PROGRAMMING THEN FILL IT?

​@ADASAIMINGByJackShort Problem with purchasing a "Nissan" transmission from "NISAN" is that they do not "Remanufacture" the transmission cores or billet shaft key way that get "Ball peend" out from the bearings they use instead of Key stock. Per copration policy they are only alowed to "Recondition" and re-use exisiting parts - as nissan Does NOT manufacture out dated parts. This was told to BY THE TECH at NISSAN. There is ONE oputsid company i know of that does acutal Remanufacting.. BUT you STILL need to have NISSAN (Or you?) recalibrate it.. or it will go BOOM and snap the chain within 34 miles like mine did. My Question to you is > what program did you use to read the disc in the DVD?

Great video! I just tried doing this with NERS and kept getting an error that the file isn't found. For anybody attempting this at their shop our Autel Elite worked great with the QR code on the disc from Nissan.

Autel MS906S was also able to do the job with the QR located on the shift selector

I appreciate the feedback. My mechanic will install a used trans with 38k miles. So this one should bring a serial number to reprogram it right.? Or what you should I do.? Thanks in advance for your feedback.🙏🏽

Facts, I bought one about 8mths ago. A 2014, silver in color, black interior, very clean. Low miles, Trans will go in reverse and back up very well with no problem. In drive it goes nowhere. Upon discovery, come to find out this is a common problem and the reviews are terrible. The transmissions run like 2500-3000, l'm just gonna sell it now. SMH

Repeat question, where do you get the software? If I replace with the Nissan valve body can I take it in and have the dealer do this reprogramming? Great video but need responses to these questions, mine and everybodys, please please!

Yea that’s what I do to all my Sentra’s. I replace valve body then take it to the dealership to reprogram it for $170 then car is good.

When you buy a transmission from Nissan they supply you with the disc,

@@lexhertz4219 call your local dealer, they maybe able to find the tcm code, they just need the vin of the car the transmission you bought was pulled from

Beautiful cars but learned the hard way with infinity jx35 has CVT transmission AWD. Going back to ford or chevy

Hi, this information is for CVT transmission, Some of the newer CVT's don't require a CD to enter the values check out KZread channel L1 training, Valve on a regular Nissan transmission requires programming. Need to purchase the software from Nissan and download it into the new valve body ,

It’s an 09 2.5s cvt. I saw a lot of metal shavings when i replaced the valve body.

Hi, good question ..but its not that simple. The engine computer, body controller, cluster and wiring are set up for automatic. Just changing the transmission is not a option on there new vehicles.

I just replaced the step motor in my 2013 rogue, and now I have no power in reverse, and when in drive it will shift and drive but takes forever to accelerate and if you press the pedal it doesn't have any pick up. How do I reset my transmission so it shifts properly?

Hi, wow very talented I did not know you can change internal parts on a CVT transmission I only program CVT transmission after a brand new dealer replacement one with the proper calibration Data provided with the new transmission ,

@@adasaimingbyjackshort2123 yes you can replace the valve body, step motor, shift solenoids, transmission filter etc. But when you replace anything on the valve body you need to do a reset of some sort. I now have power going forward but not in reverse.

hi i have a 2013 nissan altima 3.5l car. the car does not move forward. goes back, but after about 1-1.5 seconds. I looked at the errors and showed P2813. Do I need to change the valve body, or repair the entire box? if you need to change the valve body, will you need to make firmware for the new valve body? Thank you!

Why didn’t Nissan do the programs being you bought it from them?

i purchased a reman transmission for a 2016 sentra no cd came with it the guys told me it didnt come with a cd anymore is that true?

Hi, No, there's a relearn procedure to update the TCM with the new CVT info on the Nissan you're working on there's different procedures

Nissan new CVTs do NOT come prefilled, I went off his word, don't make my mistake. I repeat Nissan does not prefill it's CVT transmissions.
