It's like consciousness itself speaking, unbelievably coherent as a person, yet true to its nature

I went to his darshan in Mumbai in the late 70s. It was an electric atmosphere - especially when he payed out on a well-dressed Indian materialist who seemed to be challenging him to some kind of debate in Hindi. It was like the roof was going to lift off. I didn't understand the shakti, but I certainly felt it.

yes, he said that and it is beautifully put, but merely thinking ourselves out of it is a monumental task when we are not mature. i would advise more accessible methods like yoga, tai-chi and so on to prepare the mind to slowly settle and internalize itself quietly. cheers.

Just sense in to the I Am and focus on that only. That is enough to take you there and beyond. This is the direct path. Become aware of awareness until the I Am is eventually collapsed as well. This is Nisargadatta's playbook and the fastest way. Insights can help, but willl come after self realization.

I have actually had an experience of being in my body as well as in someone else's body and mind at the same time and I was feeling and seeing from both perspectives. ...it was so strange to me at the time but for me this state was not permanent. He is telling the truth. Enlightenment or that which IS is the only reality and everything exists inside of it therefore it is nowhere and everywhere at the same time because time and space are of the mind and exist inside it. The creation of the world is also of the mind and the mind exists within consciousness or within awareness therefore an enlightened being is not in the world. ....the world is inside them! The human body is made up of thoughts and ideas. It's purely made up of imagination. It actually doesn't exist. People don't exist. They are only imagining that they do. In reality only pure consciousness is. It is impossible to describe it with words. It has to be realized. No one has ever been born or died. It is like all the images appearing on a screen....none of the images are real but the screen is. The real self is like that screen. ..the problem arises when one has become identified with an image and thinks it to be itself when it actually never has been and never will be. This is what being a person is. It's pure imagination. The word person means mask and that's exactly what being a person is....it's several layers and layers of masks diguising your true eternal self which is formless AWARENESS.

@@goumuk Kundalini awakening. For me it happened spontaneously, my kundalini was awakened due to traumatic events in my life and once the kundalini energy is awakened, the process will be automatic but you must surrender 100 % to the process because it is and can be very painful physically, emotionally and your whole world gets turned upside down because Kundalini clears Karma so you will experience karmic clearing cycles whether you like it or not and surrender is the only solution. Eventually you will start to embody the light...meaning your physical carbon based body will start to transform into light. What you can do is go on the Internet and type "Kundalini" & also type "Crystalline light body" Do your own research and then try to find out how you can awaken the kundalini energy. It is dormant in everyone. It is basically your soul asleep in your body. I can't tell you exactly how to awaken yours though because for me it happened spontaneously.

Does he honestly think that a person in great pain because of some illness will by hearing his wise pronouncements of spiritual truths uddenly realize that he actuallydoes NOT feel any pain? - LOL This is the appalling misiake many commentators of Vedanta truths make. They are like someone showing a foot-trraveller a high-quality geographical MAP and assuming that ipso facto the foot-traveller will easily cross the wide-spreading meadows, swim across turbulent rivers, clamber steep cliffs and climb icy mountains on his way to the Shining City. I can relate to many of these expressions about his state of being. To explain it briefly in words that are inspired by NM himself When one is in the state of Reality, all experiences become non-dual, paradoxical or without any preference (like and dislikes exist no more) and even more importantly all these experiences have the stamp of Reality on them. As if “approved” with the utmost guarantee of correctness, by Reality itself. While on the other hand, all experiences rooted in the state of being an individual are all dualistic, with preferences and more importantly, doubt will always arise about the correctness of one’s beliefs, even convictions. No thought based on the root experience that one is an individual will ever stand the test of scrutiny. So testing one’s most inveterate beliefs can be part of one’s path to enlightenment. Any investigation leads to the understanding that one truly knows nothing without any certainty.

And it is not only him. You are it too. You who reads it. There is no me and you. There is one. God

He seems to be aware of the VectorSpace and its Transformation through what we call “time”. There is a viewpoint where your body is the universe and what is seen outside is vector frame that holds the Awareness {through the 5 elements 3 guans etc.} To see the Conciousness in the 5 elements is the. 5 jeweled ornament that has the value of the whole Cosmos... Its a very precious thing... hehehe

There is awareness without consciousness...but there is no consciousness without awareness. Most people havent gone intto it...but consciousness is its content. There maybe another type of consciousness , but what we know is the movement in consciousness, the likes and deslikes, pain and plesure...the right and the wrongs. All this is mind level, and thought is the builder of such concepts, and so we get entagled by them...because thought itself tries to solve that which he is constantly creating ;)

Consciousness is at two level. 1 When thinker is there and thought is there. Means when thinker thinks that he has a thought and he is different from thought. This is everyday ordinary consciousness and we think that these thoughts are coming to some one who is having a body with a particular name and story. 2. When it is viewed that there is no separation between thinker and thought. The thought itself is thinker. I mean what is a thought. It is a sensation either due to outer stimuli or vibration in brain (due to its mechanical nature) plus the memory of past. So when so when a thought arises, the thought itself breaks itself into thinker and thought and gives the illusion of an independent thinker. So when you see that thinker is thought, you are in pure consciousness and there will not be any separation between you and world and the idea that you are body will also drop. This consciousness will be there (sat) and it will know itself (chit) and will be in bliss (Anand). So it is a Sat + chit+ anand= Satchidanand state or Ishwara state or Braham state. But this state is also not permanent, because this consciousness remains as long as vital forces (breath) is functioning in body. So when body dies (means vital forces like breathing, heart beating, transmission of neuro transmitter in brain etc are no longer working), this consciousness will also disappear. But if this consciousness (before death) stay(abide) in itself, some how it disappears and only reality called Pure Awareness or Absolute (also called Sad Guru or Parbraham) prevails which is he base of all being and non being and final reality.

When you became aware of existence consciousness and the bliss absolute. That's when you utter the words the Master did .

All pious devotees experience this consciousness of "Witnessing" the self. It can either be 1) A Divine state of consciousness called the Brahmhaleen state or it can be self realization of our own soul but not necessarily Divine. Nice but God is beyond this. Absolute Divine Personification in a Transcendental form is a higher attainment than even the Divine state of this experience. Read the books written by the descended Divine masters that came with Lord Chaitanya and then choose your path knowing both the impersonal and personal possible goals or attainments.

The Only State of Being... All others are an ILLUSORY SENSE of being!! I Am Not God, but God is I.....!!

Jai Guru Jai the most effective Lens put relentlessly and solely on "aham vritti" the slippery entity that is least graspable despite its best labelling as "i-thought" by Bhagavan Maharshi Ramana. (1) The Visiting Card at age 2+ that replaced the personal name used for an unfulfilled Centre, with "I want that..." in place of "Baby wants that..". (2) The flame 'jaaNeev" springing off his Lighter and which would be there only for the tenure of its fuel, the Food Body. (3) JaNeev is your given Capital. Rotate rotate it around.... It will yieldmuch profit. (4) "I am beyond vaikhari, beyond madhyama, (gross body and prana body) Beyond pashyanti (intention, will-centre body) Beyond Paraa ( mauna) ie Mahaa Maun. paraa mauna in the absence of oscillations of superpositions adhyaasa by the rest, is itself my state". Mahaa Mauna.

I understand why enlightened people accross all religions refer to this as God. God is looking out trough your eyes right now. You think that you are separate while in reality God is litterally all that is.

What he is saying is that it is the observer that creates the experience of Maharaj - not Maharj himself ... ie the one who is interacting with Maharaj is a universe unto themselves, and Maharaj is simply a "mask" that is worn by the experiencer's own consciousness. In a way the experiencer speaks to themselves only (their own higher mind to be precise), with the messages of Maharaj manifest in the experiencer's universe (reality) manifesting as Maharaj's words and form. Maharaj, on the other hand, does not have the same experience as the one who is asking, for he is fully identified with source, and sees no separation between things, time and space are fully illusion from his perspective, and all are one. In his own experience he is not even acting to provide an answer ... the EVENT of answering flows from the Universe itself. Maharaj and the questioner are merely observing the events of QUESTION and ANSWER, with one believing he is DOING something, and the OTHER knowing neither of them are doing anything - it is the play of existence .

And yet you portray Maharaj as a person, given the title you chose [well, you are right in one way as we can only discuss at the level of the ego- persons]. However, Maharaj in this posture of a person, was not always consistent and for most people is difficult to understand when he talks as the absolute awareness and when as a person. Also, his claiming to be aware of being unconscious is defying the logic of non-duality. Awareness of something implies consciousness and consciousness bereft of its contents is pure awareness, or awareness with content is consciousness. You cannot be conscious about being unconscious, e.g. of sleep. Waking up refreshed after a night's sleep is only inference of sleeping taking place, not proof. The only state one can be aware of is that of being conscious. Pure awareness cannot be about something; you cannot be aware about the 'eternal now', which is not a state, you can only be it.

Even if I wanted to, I couldn't because I cannot possibly know the state of being unconscious/unaware, as I explained. It just makes no sense. This is not conceptual understanding but experiential/not someone else's experience but mine alone; I am talking in my name not in Maharaj's or yours. So Maharaj may be right, if you say so [which means you also experience 'unconsciousness' - perhaps you could explain how...] but being right [or wrong] has nothing to do with the absolute truth where being/existence is beyond pairs of opposites such as conscious-unconscious.

Coming to Maharjs teaching after undestading new take on reality by Physist Tom Cambell and his MBT..I totally get what is he experincing.. It doesnt feel something super natural.. Maharaj didnt have the metophors to explain but all his explainations point to the fact that 1. We are conciousness which is fundamental 2. This world is simulation , multi player ( Multi Conciouness ) virtual reality. 3. We are here to experience contrast from our true nature. Maharaj sees it from being hooked onto an avatar/body and we are veiled to the reality till out Avatar/ body dies in this simulation. Post which we get hooked to anther simulations/loka

I REALLY LIKED THIS GUY. BUT AFTER FURTHER STUDY. HE IS IGNORANT . HE IS DELUSIONAL AND MANY PEOPLE ARE MORE IGNORANT BECAUSE OF HIM. SAD. YOU CAN'T EXPERIENCE NON - EXPERIENCE.

It’s not an experience but a knowing. There is nothing to experience in non-existence of phenomena.

True, neither can a person be enlightened for in order for that to happen the "I" must die so there is enlightenment for no one.
