This shows how good they were as musicians. People complain about Kurt being mediocre at playing guitar, but getting his sound is not easy at all. He also sings in tune every single note. Drums and bass are tight AF. These guys not only were great songwriters but also spent months and months rehearsing and playing together.

Saw them play around this time in a grungy hotel bar in Calgary Canada...i never had heard of them and was just planning to meet someone who was going to the show to get some weed & really just zip in have a quick beer and zip home as it was a work night...dealer said you should really stay and see this band from seattle they are great; well i had heard that before so many times from him about seemingly every band that played that club...but i got talked into doing a reefer outside and was too stoned to drive right then so went back in...sat down and then these scruffy guys in the band came out...and well it was one of the great 90 mins of my life; literally gobsmacked, stoned and sitting at a table 10 feet from the stage having my brains blown out.

It was the seventies and sneaking in to concerts was a thing. STREAKING in even! streaker flash mobbing was a thing then too. A bunch of naked chicks and dudes crashing the gates. The PRE - SECURITY days were fucking epic!

I hope people understand how funny Kurt Cobain was, and how much humor is in Nirvana's music, and not just in the lyrics but in the style of the songs and how they used different elements. But the howls of pain are true too. It must be agony to be so alert and aware

Here it is over 30 years later now and I'm in my 40's still obsessed with this band. It's timeless music. Im 38 and feel the same way... Great musicians all around. I started playing bass around 14-15 and was coerced into playing bass because no one played bass in my area but 1 or 2 people. After really starting to appreciate music and diving into the likes of Paul McCartney, Geddy Lee, Cliff Burton, and John Paul Jones. I think Krist is so overlooked as a bassist. He is such a freaking powerhouse and wrote some catchy moving bass parts that habe stood the test of time so far. I really wish i could have been born earlier in life to be 16_18 in 1990 to experience Nirvana Soundgarden Tad Pearl Jam Alive in Chains and much more...

Then one day I was looking through documentaries on Max and came across Montage of Heck. I know it’s old but I’d never seen it and I was missing out. Great film and it motivated me to dig out my old Nirvana CDs. My taste has changed, for one thing I wasn’t a huge fan of “In Utero”, now it’s my favorite of their studio albums.

Genre grunge punk sebelum nirvana sih udah ada bro, tp mendem dibawah genre pop ala2 MJ atau glamrock GNR,, ajaibnya pas Nirvana tampilin semngat punk dari kota yg terkenal akan musik rock grungenya malah jadi musik dgn alternativ yg spektakuler jegarjeger 🔥🇮🇩

Difícil era o Kurt de concentar em um show inteiro sem aprontar ou quebrar nada no final. Quase impossível, kkkk Está faltando muito destes estilos de gente hoje em dia. Porque hoje tudo é politicamente correto. Bons tempos aqueles.

This is it! The best show just before the breakout! The Paramount show is great too but they were famous then. Here they were still hungry and rising. Thanks for posting this incredible show! They sound great and Cobain sings well and with enthusiasm. They wanted to make it big. Then the fame turned sour for him. It didn’t end well to say the least. He’s gone and he should still be here. RIP Cobain
