If the kid stole the rap or the kid wrote it and they used it in the commercial... its hard to say, considering they could have used the rap originally to advertise the game and the kid took it or they later released the commercial after the game had been out and used the kid's rap. My dad recently gave me a box he found in storage--it had all my Nintendo Power magazines in it! The volumes span from the launch of the GameCube until the end of the Wii-era.

I'm like 90% sure the "grey" cover was one of these rubbing things. You know, hold a blank piece of paper on it, rub it all over with a pencil and bam, picture.

+Euph i think it was the same with all video game magazines around the world during that time period. i remember that replies to readers' letters published in the magazines in my country were more or less kept in the same tone as those in the Nintendo Power. most of those guys had barely left college by this time and they still wanted to be "cool" and "radical" and stuff. but even as a kid i thought they tended to cross the line between trolling and just being plain rude just a bit too often (and even when it was just harmless trolling, you couldn't help but feel frustrated when they didn't even answer the guy's question just for the sake of being funny)

Because the 41,664 dots are each a place for 1 of 15 different colors to exist, the calculation should have been done as follows: possible images = 15^(41,664) Ian incorrectly flipped the numbers and did: possible images = 41,664^(15). I actually looked up the Yoshi's Island commercial, and I have not regretted anything as hard as I did with that. I literally cannot unsee that. I hope the people who made that commercial ended up in a mental asylum because that is where they belong.

well not when drawing in a game like mario paint, and thinking about it, not even in real life. The number of possibilities is of course unfathomably huge, but not "literally endless".

Hot Bakery Eclipse, no, when you are talking about any computer data de possibilities are not endless since its always a combinations of 1 and 0. For example, there is a finite number of audio recordings you can have on a CD, that includes all the possible conversations between two people that can fit on a CD and all the possible music that can fit on a CD. A drawing on mario paint is easier than that, since its a finite combination of colors on a grid.

Bottom right, there's a white face either that or the "smile" where the camera is zooming in on

at 4:36 where it shows the "top 10 gameboy games" , they got the pictures for Zelda and Mario switched around..

3:35 Still a shame we didn't get Star Fox 2. To this day it's probably Nintendo's biggest cancellation along with Earthbound 64. It's a longshot, but I hope it gets an official release in some form in the future, even if it's a remake.

Ratical I don't know if EB 64 would have been any good, all I know is that we got Mother 3 instead and that game is an awesome emotional rollercoaster.

+Micheal Laurin I said REMAKE, as in retelling., so new characters and such would be introduced. Just like Star Fox 64 was a remake of the original game for SNES. Which is why Star Wolf are in it, who were supposed to be in Star Fox 2.
