I was the kid who won the chance to be in The Mask II. Wanna know what they did instead? When they eventually found out that Jim Carey had no interest in doing a sequel, I received $5,000, a leather jacket, a bunch of THQ games for the Super Nintendo and, when I got to talk on the phone to the woman who voiced Princess Toadstool (which was ridiculously awesome) on the cartoon, I got asked, "is there anything you wish you had from Nintendo"? I already had a N64 so I said I'd love Pilotwings 64. One week later, that's what I got in the mail. Nintendo is and was a fantastic company. I still have one of the letters from then and the jacket.

Holy crap. So many memories coming back. I forgot how many times I read and re-read these magazines, seeing them here again I’m remembering seeing them for the first time, how I felt, what I thought, it’s incredible.

This made me wish I was older in the 90’s to be able to read and enjoy Nintendo Power when they were issued. Sadly, I was born in 1993. Luckily, I own a good amount of Nintendo Power magazines now though. Awesome video, as usual! #Cinemassacre

One of my favorite vids for nostalgia as well the holiday catalogues, James should and I hope he does one day go over the other magazines like Gamepro and EGM.

The scratch and sniff Earthbound thing would later be mentioned in the Earthbound review. The only video game console that was ever shown and mentioned on Friends was the PS1, but it was never used in the plot for an episode.

The Movie is finished and released, so why just re-upload stuff? Why no new ACTUAL episodes?! Don't h8 m8s, just wondering.

Looking back after so many years, this is my favorite episode after all, I’ve noticed something kinda funny and a little creepy. When the Nerd is facing the camera, you will notice that his neck has a really weird tan and yet his head is at a much paler tone. This leads me to believe that in filming this episode, in order to get the lines right and look at and hold the magazines he’d cut of his head with editing software and then paste his head saying the lines later. It’s kinda genius, and after watching this time and time again, I’ve never noticed. Huh neat.

4 years late, but at 8:15 you can see the same skin tone difference and that's clearly not an edit. I think he just had a sunburn or something.

I think this more than any other of the AVGN episodes brings back a sense of nostalgia. It may well be my favorite one. But that is a close and very tough call.

I love that the Moon theme from Duck Tales plays right at the same time as a clip of him reading a Nintendo Power issue with Duck Tales on the front cover. Nice little detail I hadn't noticed watching this before.

This episode was so cozy.

This is my favorite Nerd episode. So much nostalgia

@@nintendonerdsvideos4727 I could have sworn I posted this a couple of years ago to...Accursed KZread comments...Why can't they just give me the option to look up my comments in the section of this video...I try looking in my comments tab, but they disappear over time...fucking hell
