If you told me this was an old commercial I would have absolutely believed you without a second thought. It also looks like what could have been like a built-in little game heading away if you held the right button or something booting up the GameCube

This is just absolutely genius. You could've told me that this was actually just a secret boot-up intro that was only just discovered, and I'd believe you. It's right on brand with something Nintendo would actually do.

This is awesome! Wish Nintendo did this with the GameCube; it feels so fitting given Nintendo usually has the more “playful” consoles.

Imagine booting your game cube for the 100th time and actually seeing that as an actual easter egg.

if this were like a secret on the actual OS id probably pop off. the actual opening theme has a lot of secrets i wouldn’t be surprised if P2 holding the Z button did this

Honestly that was both satisfying and Super Nostalgia Bros.

There should have been an extremely rare chance of this actually happening on boot up.

Love how u remixed the built-in alternate startup intros to make the Mario theme. Sweet haha.
