Love how PJ has kept the patina allowing him to be less precious about it - no garage queen 👌 I guess the 356 scene is of the older crowd simply because of the access point - PJ’s done fantastically well to get in the club at 30 I hope there are more of these - the format works 👍 What will be next? A sweeet Emory Special, perhaps a 997 with a tent On a separate note I was also stunned to realise this was filmed on what I think was an iPhone - the quality (and obv the camera operator - is that you Tom?) really impressed Best Wishes Ian @yorksche.aircooled

Lovely car. I saw it at Bicester last year. Wheel set up and brakes look great. I have also put on CSP discs all round on my 57 T1 with beehives. Also has a fair amount of patina but all with a story which is good. There is a fair number of ‘younger’ owners on DDK website but I got mine at 30ish and have had it over 20 years. It still makes me feel young and do prefer to attend VW shows than those with too many 911s for lots of reasons ! With the patina I don’t mind flooring it now and then and taking it down country lanes now I know it stops better ! Class edition ! Mine is a silver with red interior!! But I think yours is more individual ! Hope to see it again this summer.

This 356 is a 1957 not a 1958, I also have a 1957 356 and PJ's and mine are only 18 apart on the serial numbers( mine is older, built on Sept 7th). Great car and video, I am a new subscriber.

One super cool car. I've always loved the early 356's and love the patina on the car. I love these videos, just easy going and 2 pettolhears chatting. I would like to hear the cars too, and maybe even a little drive out in them. I'm being picky though.
