Thanks mate. I've had the same problem even if I live in Treviso (Venice) where the roads are still ok. I got my ES1 on gearbest and didn't know about the warranty problem, so I'm fixing it by myself as well. 👍🏼 thanks for sharing this.

I found the cause of error 54! I removed the front wheel with a motor and cables for connection and the brown cable was torn (broken in half or frayed) I cleaned both sides and connected them together, insulated and put everything back as it was before. Everything is working! And now I know that error 54 is one of three broken cables.

I having an issue with our ES1. it will turn left fine but not right. It's like it's hitting something. any previous issues like this?

For the two bolts.. I had the same issue .. they kept coping lose with only half mile lose by 2 miles the whole hadle bar would wabble, I fix that issue by buying the hex tool and I put lock tight. That issue was fixed since, but not now scooter wont charge, and if it does only charges to 80 percent. Seems this scooters are problems filled.

So you break The wheel go to you but when you put it toword you it make sound į have same isue xd

Same problem ES to the sticker on the inside of the stem that says warranty void if removed or seal broken it literally fell off because the screw in there under that sticker came out.

if you put a extra battery on a ninebot es1 20km t does it increase the speed to 30 km t?

I don’t know, my ES1 decided to break down after a year. The motor bearings gave up. I bought myself a NineBot Max after the ES1, the NineBot Max does do 30 KMPH

Hi where did u buy the screw? Mine is alway loosen , more so if add the xternal battery. The all in one tool also.where u got it?

Hi as it says in the video I took the screw from a server rack. The all in one tool was bought from Amazon. Hope that helps.

@@ernmander Do you have the spec/size of that screw please? Yours has the same issue as mine whereby the front screws are warping the stem metal.

@@ernmander Thanks, managed to find 2x that fit. Added a washer too which fits snug in the indentation. Wasn't expecting this from Segway, given mines the 3rd revision.

What I am looking for is a video to improve the subject of the base of the skate to the battery bar, since after 500km the three screws give way to aluminum and I have loose the steering wheel of the base.

my front wheel got jammed and not able to go forward, i pull out standpipe, found burnt wire and cable connector inside. cant believe Segway put all wire inside without cable management, in the long term,dont even know how dat fk gets burnt....caused yellow blue and brown cable sticky together. then this shit happened. i almost fall from scooter. ffs. i got refund from local dealer. i only done 100km.not sure if this happened to any other owners?

You can buy tread lock in a hardware store it come in a small plastic container,its a liquid that becomes semi hard when screw is tightened

Considering all things that are made in today's society are designed to fail this is one thing that they should have made with a little bit more longevity
