I love this. I am not much into the whole Sonic franchise, but Prime.. this right here is very, very good. It might be so good in fact that most of you don't understand what is actually going on. I think it's hilarious how many of you claim that Nine is an antagonist, or a villain. That he "betrayed" Sonic. But as Nine rightfully says: "Sonics world isn't his world!" By turning everything back to how it was Sonic would effectively kill Nine, as well as all the other alternative versions of these Characters. I understand that Sonic did basically kill his world and everyone in it by destroying the crystal in the first place, but what right does he has to do it again and this time killing 5 Universes? (I think it's 5 Alternatives. I didn't count.) I'm on Nines side. Poor guy.

@@chamila249 First of all. Interesting way of answering another comment. I think this is the first time seeing someone who'd send me 4 messages in a row on KZread. Second. You really have to stop spamming "It's my opinion" It really makes you look like a goof that has not the slightest clue what they are talking about and try to hide it with "It's my opinion, please let me have my Opinion!" So About the first answer you have given. I base my comment about the multitude of Comments that flat out call Nine Evil, a Villain, a Traitor, etc. with many Upvotes from other people. This led me to the conclusion that most people don't understand Nine at all. His motivation. The Commenters which I assume are mostly Fans of the Sonic Franchise pretty much share the Sonic PoV in that everything has to be as it used to be. They don't understand why Sonic fucks up, why he still fucks up btw. Sonic might look caring and friendly, but in reality he is out for himself and his goal, not anybody else and it is shown clearly when he treats the others like his old, and obviously "dead" pals. Btw. I say they are dead because this is pretty much what happened, at least until the Story tells otherwise. Sonic destroyed the Crystal and split his world apart. Everything that was part of his old world is now gone entirely. In other words: Dead. And if he didn't enter the Crystal a the same time he would have died to. 2. Comment. have to admit, I didn't actually watch the whole Show. But the little that I'm aware of doesn't paint sonic in a good light. In the context of this Show he's a brash, carefree and simple minded "Hero" that puts his Ego above all others, and he travels and interacts with these alternative versions of his old friends to understands his faults. This Story isn't really about the Crystals. It's about Sonic and his Character growth. I don't know what happens in this Grim. But since I myself follow a philosophy of creation I agree with Nines desire to create something new anyways. Despite his shortcomings he is still a good guy in his core. But he is no longer Sonics loyal dog. Nine is far more interesting than the normal Tails will ever be. You mention that Sonic talked him out of it, because he wanted to help the Rebels, but really he only wanted to go back to solve his problem. Once again his Ego is showing. Uncaring and unwilling to understand Nine. Despite his aid to the Rebels he hasn't done it because he believes in their cause or because he truly wants to help them. He just wants his old world back. And again in Season 2 when they got the crystal Shards out of New Yoke. Once again Sonic is entirely apathetic about everything besides his goals. I can't say anything about the assumption. It's true they could have talked about the whole topic, but Sonic had already two opportunities and completely sidestepped them. So 3rd Comment. About the Deaths. I said it before but I guess I write it down once more. Anyone except Sonic and Shadow are gone. Entirely. These new worlds aren't just alternatives of the "Prime World" They are they own deal and the Prime world was entirely destroyed. It's gone from existence and effectively dead. 4th Comment. Can't disagree with most of what you said. But what's so wrong about a blank slate? Both of them can become friends again. Perhaps this blank slate is exactly what will lead to the "good ol'days" but the third season will answer that question. When Nine defied Sonic he was at that point in time fighting for his survival. And while you might say that he doesn't know if he'd die; On the contrary he can be very certain. And even if there's a chance that the Happy Ending will fix everything and make everyone happy, he won't risk his live to find out. None of us would be either btw. Just like the OG Crew died, the Alternative Characters will all die as well. their memories, their thoughts, feelings, emotions, everything that makes them ... them will be gone. I cannot stress that enough. They would be effectively dead. Nine will not risk his life, nor anybodies life so Sonic can get his wish. So but that's from me. Don't expect an answer in the next few hours from me if you write to me again. It's late and I have to go to bed. G'Night.

Sonic should've listened to Shadow.

Every time I see this scene it makes me pissed off at Sonic for saying that to him “Just like the REAL Tails would” that broke my heart nine fr had the right to do that though because Sonic was thinking basically that they can all live together.. but Nine wouldn’t even exist at that point

While I dont agree with his own goals, Nine has every right to be mad at Sonic. Sonic may be "the fastest thing alive", but he's definetly not "the most considerate". No matter how hard he refuses to accept it, Nine is just an alternative version of Tails from a screwed "What If?" scenario. That's it. It would be selfish to expect someone to become a friend's replacement. It's bad enough being compared to other people all the time, but not treating them as their own person, but as expandable flawed copies, is far worse.

I believe we should take account in episode 6, (Season 1) Nine was telling Sonic about the Grim and how the two could build a new world together. But Sonic says, “Look Nine it’s incredible, but it’s not going anywhere. And the Rebels really need our help.” Basically saying no to his suggestion because he wanted to help the Rebels. Nine being Nine didn’t really care, but came to help later because he cared about Sonic. Then in episode 7, (Season 2) Nine wanted to tell Sonic his ideas about the Grim again and Sonic said they’ll discuss it later. Due to them rushing to get all of the shards out of New Yoke. Why did Nine assume Sonic would change his mind? Especially, since he didn’t carry the same enthusiasm with him on the idea from the beginning. He and Nine both assumed what the other wanted despite neither of them discussing anything. In my opinion they were both WRONG and RIGHT. But if you have any other perspectives, I am willing to hear them. 😄👍

Nine isn’t doing this outta being a pure villain. It’s more gluttony than anything. But as shadow says he doesn’t have the same goal as them. It’s like when you trust a stranger to save ur bank account because they look legit. Just because nine looks like tails doesn’t mean he’s the tails sonic knows. He’s not tails, he’s nine. I’m pretty sure he at least cried once in almost ALL of his shows. X (When he gave Chris a piggyback ride before leaving to go home.) Boom, Underground, and especially Satam (Poor Uncle Chuck) Even in the movies it’s implied that he indeed cried during the baseball scene. Also, in episode 7 in Prime he gets emotional over eating seadogs. So he has done it before, just not often. 💙

@@gamingwill896 Au contraire, Sega is the one who allows other companies to portray Sonic as long as they follow their mandates (one of them being that Sonic must not cry). I'm sure some of these companies get away with it by not making it as obvious (such as here, where you have to zoom in SUPER close to even see him cover his face with his hands).

I agree with nine because when sonic bring backs his world what will happen to nine but also they could of talk things out instead of taking all of the shards and there is a way for both of them to make portals so they can see each other just like how shadow can travel between worlds just like sonic.but sonic also has a point because he said that there all in there together and that nine will grow up to love his friends just like him and sonic can also make it nine home. And when you see the little bit of season 3 of sonic and shadow fight the robot’s shadow is warming up to sonic .the missing shard might be the chaos emerald that shadow lost in the void and shadow and sonic will have to figure out how to put the paradox prism back together. Sonic and nine will have a emotional conversation and end up being friends we will see what happens ❤

Why is no one feeling bad for nine? Here are some good reasons for Nine to be mad at sonic: -sonic treats him as tails and not nine (calling him “little buddy”) -sonic didnt consider nine’s choice (minecraft suvival in the grim) -he realizes if the shards were put back together, him and all the alternative versions of rouge, knuckles, rose, dr eggman, big, froggy, and tails would be wiped and turned back into their original counterparts, so sonic was inconsiderate of what might’ve happened to nine. This was a double betrayal, sonic feels betrayed because nine left him and now hates him, nine feels betrayed because the only person he’s trusted didnt agree with him, and keeps treating him like tails, and that sonic doesnt care about nine, and only about tails.

It absolutely makes sense from Nine's perspective, he would basically be erased and deprived of a whole lifetime by the only person he ever got to think of as a genuine friend. But I also understand Sonic's desperation, it has made him want to rush through the process with guilt eating at him every second he spends in the different multiverses. It's a difficult situation.

This comment section is split down the middle. Half is sorry for Nine half is sorry for Sonic. I'm sorry for Sonic and my heart broke for when I saw that but, I wanna say they are both in the right and in the wrong. They are both blinded by the same things. Fear, sadness, anger, trauma, and trust or distrust. Sonic is blinded by his fear, sadness, anger, trauma and blind trust in his friends and himself that everything will be okay. Hence causing him to trust Nine without question because he sees him as Tails. Tails means a lot to Sonic. Think about it. Sonic must've been super lonely on his first adventure to let Tails follow him around 24/7. Nine is blinded by his fear, sadness, anger, trauma, and distrust of those around him. All his life he was taught that he could trust no one. Causing his heart to become jaded and barricaded with barriers that no one could get through. Nine wants change to his life and is probably jealous of our Tails. Causing him to want to make the clean slate his new home. Sonic wants his life to stay the same because he can't bear the burden of losing the people, he loves the most. Sonic and Nine are more alike than different. Nine's actions are justified but inexcusable for me. Sonic actions are justified and excusable for me. All of Nine's actions have been either selfish or rude. Some occasions he's done nice things but not much. All of Sonic's actions have been attempts to right the wrongs he caused. They both have similar wants and desires but can't see through each other's eyes.

(Plus, Sonic's friends aren't dead just trapped somewhere because when they came back for that split second they were alive and had no clue what was happening)

What I think he means when he says "What do you think will happen to me when you bring your friends back?" means that he thinks he will be alone again in the terrible environment of New Yolk with no friends to call his own. I think the Thanos snap theory is a red herring to divert the audience from the true outcome of a plot twist.

They say Sonic isn't allowed to cry, not even when extremely sad. If they make him openly cry, is because of the link with Mecha Sonic, or while showing only his back like in Sonic X, or with his tears hidden in the fur, like in Sonic Movie. Even Shadow, who is pratically a so called 'macho hedgehog', can cry freely while showing his face without shame, like on ARK in both game and Sonic X. And Sonic can't at all? (unless he is being a drama queen)? What I except is Sonic giving his back to Shadow so he will not see his tears. Probably as usual he will shallow everything and will show himself smiling, though with a clearly sad expression. Shadow, who is understanding (in Sonic prime) will say something that will not sound so comforting, but it will aim to ease Sonic's sadness and keeping his tear more at bay. So we will not see Sonic tears, not even this time. Everything will be left to our imagination. To me, Sonic is apparently more friendly and open, but he is extremely whitdrawn about his problems and his feelings. Shadow on the other hand is more solitary, yet more open toward his feelings, good or bad. He would not share them but he doesn't care if people see him either sad or happy, like if he doesn't fears his emotions, a mature attitude toward himself.

And AGAIN Shadow was SUPER RIGHT
