Shadow suddenly doesnt feel like much of a villain anymore. He takes things seriously, and unlike Sonic, he isnt bragging ALL THE TIME. He is honest, and admits a defeat. And even when he does admit he needs Sonic, Sonic still tries to one-up by saying "see, who needs me after all".

I think the difference between the two comes down to maturity and personality. Both can let their egos get inflated but it comes out in different ways. Sonic is very much a extrovert, he’s more than fine with bragging about his talents and showing off. Shadow is an introvert, so when he does want to fuel his ego, it’s much more reserved- but can come off harsh.

@@ShadzTheOne Prime Sonic yeah, but game Sonic is a lot more introverted than people think (at least up until the 2010s, came back in Frontiers though). You’ll notice he barely says anything in group conversations and largely stays off to the side during group gatherings, not to mention running off again as soon as an adventure is done. Also he isn’t the best hugger XD the dude has no idea how to react to one. These traits are at their most prominent during Sonic X, he’s constantly seen running off on his own, and in ep. 40 when Knuckles asked him why he didn’t just explain to everyone earlier so they could avoid the trouble, his response was something along the lines of “well you didn’t ask.” Oh, and classic Sonic, he doesn’t even *have* voice lines in almost all the games he’s in.

This scene hits different when you know that the Ice Cap Zone theme sounds just like "Hard Times" by The Jetzons

This is amazing. I feel this really gets Sonic and Shadow’s character right. Sonic is a cocky character who at this point lost the only person he trusted. He wouldn’t get back up immediately. He would just sit there for a minute, thinking things over. Not sure of what’s next. Shadow is unapologetic towards sonic berating him about what he did until Sonic tells him that he understands the gravity of the situation. Shadow still doesn’t forgive sonic, but let’s him make his wrongs right again. But telling him just before that if need be he will take care of it himself. The what I believe to be sonic 2 music fits perfectly here too since this is just after nine betrayed sonic. We know that this is a version of tails, but not tails. The saddened version of the song is sonic realizing tails isn’t here right now and remembering him. This is awesome.

Shadows words might be harsh but fair

1:37 Shadow's face literally says "Tf...you just had a mental breakdown a few seconds ago...."

This is a fairly accurate concept. My only nitpick might be the choice of making Sonic cry. While it is true Sonic has shed tears before on very rare occassions, and it humanises the character for realising how badly he messed things up, there is also a risk that if your main character and role model breaks down it can stop the viewer from breaking down from how unrealistic it is for the character to cry (learning from David Tennant in Doctor Who Confidential whilst filming his regeneration scene). It makes all the difference when deciding to add such a detail but hopefully it also makes for an interesting discussion among viewers.

This one seems more legit. Sonic won't never show his tears so easily.

This is epic! I’m hoping there will be a small fan reference to maybe a hint of his past. Like maybe her voice overlapping when Sonic says ‘Shadow, thank you.’ or something. 😊

Honestly if I was there I would give Sonic a hug. Losing a friend is hard, believe me, I know. While I can’t blame Shadow for being mad at Sonic he should at least be more sensitive about the situation. Well at the very least he gave Sonic hope again.

Season 3 can't come soon enough! Can't wait to see how it will end!

here's what they do nine took the shards to the grim he's probably there with all of the shards including the last so sonic goes back to new yoke city and get to nines lab use nines invention to get rid of the prism energy that's blocking shadow into the world's for chaos control in the void while he trying to enter boss cage maze and have the tech to track down the chaos emeralds the chaos counsel followed them in the grim so they destroyed the chaos counsels ship so they can't escape from the grim with nine and took the shards t

Who else is here after season 3 actually came out? It’s kind of surprising how accurate this turned out to be, except Shadow going with Sonic to catch Nine instead of staying behind.

I really like this! I love fanon interactions as much as everyone else but you all made this scene in a way where it seemed fairly canon compliant but still very sweet and entertaining! I also felt really bad seeing sonic almost cry, I feel like he deserves to cry tbh. Like ik the show isn’t supposed to get too emotional or sappy but my dude has been through it 😭

From how I see it from the end of Season 2 there’s gonna be three options. One. Shadow beats up Sonic. Two. Shadow will be pissed off with Sonic at first but calms down and they try to come up with a plan to get the shards back. Three: Shadow tells Sonic that it’s okay and that they’ll get the shards back.

Idc if you like or don't like sonadow, but personally I feel like shadow and sonic being like bros instead of lovers makes more since. Shadow being the straight man to sonics impulsive actions, setting him straight out of care and platonic love of sonic. I wish they went more in that direction. Sega is making shadow hate everyone and be constantly angry but it'd be cooler if he was frustrated out of love and care and not hatred. He loves the world and cares for the people on it but he's frustrated by sonic impulsively putting the world in jeopardy. He tries to knock some since into him out of care and not wrath

Here are my hopes for sonic prime S3 Silver the hedgehog to appear as a mentor and finally forming team sss Blaze the cat : since the show is on a multiversal scale and blaze is from another dimension it would be sick to see her in the show like a big sister Chaos sonics return: maybe the chaos council were able to restore him and make him more how do you say malignant The ending : As good as sonic prime is every show has an ending do I believe at the end sonic finds a way to have everyone from every universe but they learn that will mess up the timeline so nine and the others tell sonic to do what is right by turning everything back to normal sonic promises that he will never forget them and everything goes back to normal along with blaze and silver returning to their homes

It absolutely wont get that grim or sad, it's a show for pretty young kids, but either way this is absolutely amazing, descent voice acting, great animation and art, just all around pretty damn sick.
