Beautiful and iconic French fragrance. The soap, shower gel and body creme are lovely too. I hope they never discontinue it.

I adore L'air du Temps. The sillage is just so elegant. In the Perfume book written by Nigel Groom in 1999, he mentioned in his L'air du Temps review, the top 5 best perfumes ever created are Joy, Chanel 5, Shalimar, Arpege and L'air du Temps. The edt projects more which I truly enjoy. Effortless, flowy, chic, elegant.

My mom wore it. She died at the age of forty nine. My sis and I still wear it. I will buy other things but always disappointed and go back to it.

The scent reminds me of my mother. She always wore it when she went out.

Great perfume! It’s so effortless, can easily wear it with a t shirt & jeans to elevate an outfit! 🕶

I used to sell it in the late 80's and 90's!! I recently smelled it again and was DELIGHTED to find that it still smells the same!! I hope you do not mind, but I do disagree that it is a winter fragrance. I find as it is a useful fragrance for any season. Also amazing that the bottle is Lalique. I love your reviews!

All season for sure but the EDP is very opulent. I would wear more the EDT version for spring and summer

Hi the scent is very well paired and marketed in a Lalique bottle.

I have worn L’Air du Temps exclusively since I was 16. (I am 63 now). It is my signature and I am constantly asked what perfume I am wearing.

I wear the EDP which I love to wear for winter… before going to bed, for a work day, or on my silky pyjama when I stay home

L’Air du Temps was my absolute favorite fragrance back in the ‘90s! ❤

I love perfume. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sprays perfume on my bedding.

I’ve never owned this perfume but have always thought it smells so pretty. It totally smells so French to me 😊. You said in another video you loved Cabochard- it’s an old fave of mine. You’re making me want to buy these older, but timeless fragrances. ❤

It surely is just a Beautiful fragrance Its definitely on the top of the list of fragrances that just stands the test of time. Yeah it 1 of those for sure 💖

excellent review...i remember smelling my beautiful mother wearing this as my parents went for dinner. I just bought a bottle of the EDT..and, sprayed all over my clothing..it's not exactly me, but since it reminds me of my mother- i am wearing it...it dries down clean, spicy, woodsy, less power(i don't like the powder). But, a beautiful elegant fragrance. Reminds me of Chanel 5

Much warmer than chanel n5 and less musky. The Ylang Ylang is more pronounced in chanel 5. Chanel 5 is more soapy than powdery I find

I tested this perfume for 4 times lately. I went into the perfumeshop ans sprayed it on my wrist. It smells an almost metallic fresh breeze of carnation. I am still speculating if I need it or not. My children liked it, so just because of them, sooner or later, I am going to get a small bottle, but from an older version.

Every skin is different. It’s warm and spicy. Maybe your skin reacts better on cold, icy perfumes…

I bought a bottle of L'air du Temps years ago because I remembered the commercial song from my youth. I wonder how many people bought this perfume because of that song!

So happy to see this review. I recently purchased L'air du Temps and was surprised to get the blast of aldehydes. I'll try the perfume again and pay attention to the dry down. I adore the Boucheron by Boucheron perfume; the fragrance is a beautifully crafted scent. 😀

L'Air Du Temps is one of my favorite fragrances and I have quite a collection, lol. This is iconic, I love everything about this parfum and I can use it here in Brazil, even in summer, without feelling a little too much. Btw, I love your channel! Happy new year, darling!

My mother used to wear this in the 60's and 70's (along with No 5); the original was SO much better than reformulated one, almost completely different. IFRA unfortunately changed it all up, though the animal welfare effects I can't complain about.

Maintenant j'ai très envie de le sentir de nouveau et peut être de l'acheter pour changer de mon Hermes 24 faubourg et Chanel N°5 (oui j'aime les classiques). Le flacon est magnifique . C'est un intemporel. Je n'aime vraiment pas les parfums actuels que je trouve tous sans âme , souvent sucrés et synthétiques.J'ai l'impression qu'ils se ressemblent tous et qu'aucun ne sort du lot. Vive les Iconiques.

I bought this a couple of years ago. I was feeling nostalgic. My mom used to wear it when we lived in Spain in the 80s and 90s. I also bought Anais Anais and Lou Lou. All perfumes she used to wear.

if only we could buy the edp outside of France. I've always loved this perfume but the edt is so light.

When she says "powdery" does she mean like, bath/baby powder or like, just clean/soft? Cause I love the notes mentioned but powdery throws me off of perfume right away

I love this perfume...with a hint of carnations.

Following your advice I bought entire perfume and what can I say. The bottle is really beautiful, but the perfume itself I don't like. Today I applied it and all the morning smelling aldehydes, purfume sounds quite rude. Exatly - rude, I can't find another definition. It doesn't bring to me any mood: joy, sadness, calm, etc. - nothing, just sounds straight, widely... primitive. I understand, that it's quite cheap, but even between cheap perfumes is possible to find more interesting and sophisticated versions - Lalique perfumes, for example. But thank you very much for your review and oppinion, because now I see, that aldehydes are not my story and I'll not spend money for Chanel #5.

Hello sorry you don’t like this one. To me it is very warm and comforting and I love aldehyde. This perfume is not “cheap” honestly. Aldehyde are not for everyone agree

I have bought on eBay a bottle with:- a yellow Box and the pigeons are golden,no Barcode on the Box but truly original. The bottle is round with a ornamented transparent head. And 2 pigeons on the bottle iced in the glass. Not very detailed crafted. The new Version is not my cup of tea. You get all flowers at once blown in your face and its not only not well balanced- its NOT balanced. Its not like a creation. Its like a product now. Like toilet fresh is😅😅😉!! I guess Hannibal Lecter would not like it😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂. So if somebody can help me with the years in wich my version was selled. Please tell me. Please!!!🙏🙏🙏. Lovely greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 ❤

Funny you mention that. I'm an older woman and just recently a man young enough to be my son complimented me. He walked past me, turned around and said "you smell really good!", my first thought was I wish I was 40 years younger. BTW, I had applied it at least 2 hours before.
