Thanks for the video! Just a suggestion, If you’re not going to write the names of the perfumes in the description, please have them written on the video. It would make it easier to follow

I very much agree! And leave the names on the screen long enough to see them! I missed a few of these today because I don’t speak French and could not read the bottles. A wonderful video that is very informative however.

Also links and the description box. Please.
When my grandmother was 102 and towards the end of her time often unconscious and not responsive, I wafted Goutal’s Petite Cherie directly under her nose and a definite almost childlike smile of pleasure lit her face, despite closed eyes and no other sign of awareness. Beautiful memory and shows the power of scent.

So intriguing that it occurred to you to do that. A charming story, thank you.
Coco Madamoiselle for the win. Gabrielle is lovely too.
Coco Mademoiselle has been my Spring/Summer perfume and Coco Noir Autumn/Winter ❤❤❤
I love Un jardin sur le Nil. It’s so beautiful and long lasting and perfect on a hot summer day!
I like Rive Gauche, Coco, n. 5, Gabrielle, also Izia from Sisley. Miss Dior and La vie est belle is too sweet for me.
I definitely agree for Shalimar, Chloe and Coco Mademoiselle
I can't bear heavy, chokingly sweet perfumes -- have worn "Un Jardin sur le Nil" since it came out -- never tire of it and don't smell it on everyone.
Great video. According to the book The Scent of Empires, Ernest Beaux was inspired by the odor of the Arctic Circle when he created the aldehydes that went into Chanel no 5.
Such a nice video! I own most of them. Makes me want to go to Paris. Thank you!
I have two of Hermès ones, yay! I made notes to purchase more 😊! Thank you! I like this clean, lean, fresh notes 😊
Jour d'Hermés is my summer signature scent! A compliment getter 😍
Ooh la la I have most of those. Trying to grow my gurlain collection its so pretty, elegant, Iconic
In my 30s, I wore Chanel No. 5, Shalimar, and Annik Goutal (cannot recall the scent). I had to stop wearing Chanel No. 5 because I got headaches from it. Also, in the U.S., I find that most people I am around do not appreciate perfume, as many also get headaches. I wonder if you know of any popular perfumes that are more natural in content. Thank you for the wonderful video! I suggest you write the names of the perfumes because the bottles are not shown long enough to catch all the names. 💝

Aquarelle is sold in the US and are devoid of toxic synthetic ingredients
This was so interesting and informative. Im pleased that one of my " forever" perfumes Mitsouko- is popular there. I always worry about my favorites being retired due to the younger generation not buying them.!
On my first trip to Paris I bought Annick Goutal La Violette. I love love this scent!
You have very good perfume videos !! Yes, fragrance is indeed an important part of style, and often overlooked ! My favourite at the moment is Chanel eau Premiere, extremely versatile and also put together😊
Some on your list I love: Hermes, Chanel, and Guerlain. But I really can't stand La Vie est Belle, Chloe, or Libre. After watching your video, I spritzed some Sur de Nil and ordered a sample of Petite Cherie!!
merci pour partager cette information, j"adore edt Chanel 5
I’ve heard that Libre edt is very popular in Paris - it’s a light floral version of the new fragrance. I’ve loved Rive Gauche for so long. I’m surprised it’s popular at the moment! Such a chic and elegant Parisian smell to my nose. ❤❤❤

I used Rive Gauche about 40 years ago …
I have most of the perfumes you mentioned in this video, and truly love them. Not the la vie set belle-too cloying and overbearing for me. Now curious about the ones from dior and dypthique. Thank you!
Hola🥰 I love wear Chloé and N° 5 😍😍 and Diorissimo edp is one of my favorite too🥰 I'm from Spain but I think my heart is a little french 🤭🤭
My favorite perfumes are the early classics from Guerlain; not so much the newer ones. Rive Gauche was one of my first loves and I still wear it, as well as the earlier YSL perfumes. I do not care for Chanel No.5, but love No.19 Poudre, Bel Respiro and Misia. My favorite Diors are the vintage Miss Dior Cherie and the original Poison. I love practically everything from Hermes, especially the "Jardin" series.
I am now wearing Chloé Atelier Des Fleurs (Cedrus and Lavanda). I am so happy this variant is available in my country Indonesia. Now I have another must have farfume beside Lancome La Vie Est Belle
Thank you for your recommendations and I feel very in synch with your choices. I did have to replay some parts of the video because, although your accent is very charming, it is at times a little difficult to understand. It would have been helpful to include the names of the perfumes in the description box, since I was confused on what the last one was called. Thanks!
Uiii, your post comes just at the right time ...😍. I'm looking for something new ... 🤔🙄. My Chloé Nomad is empty, now I'm spoiled for choice ...😅. Thank you for your inspiring and professionally presented post ... 😇👌❤
Just a bit of information - Mitsouko is Dame Maggie Smith’s favourite perfume.
I like Rive Gauche and Coco (not Mademoiselle Coco), eau de Soir, and Annick Goutal’s Passion. My favourite perfume is Bottega Veneta but it’s very hard to find now. Thank you for the video. 👏❤
I love wearing Chanel Cuir de Russie, the original Miss Dior, Sisley Eau du Soir. There is also Vetiver by Elizabeth W of San Francisco.
Bonjour, thank you very much for sharing. I love french perfume very much! So far I have Chanel No 5, Boucheron Initial, Eau des merveilles Hermes, Un matin d'orage Annick Goutal, La vie est Belle Lancome, Niki de Saint Phalle. I'm planning to get more.
I am curious about your views on Givenchy perfumes, particularly the Irresistible line and L’Interdit line.
My everyday scent is the French perfume Perles de Lalique. I get compliments everywhere I go, from people of all ages and all walks of life. There is something so soft, spicy, and universally appealing in the scent.

Very lovely video! Any chance you can list the names of the perfumes?
Please post more perfume videos! 😀
Thank you 🎉‼️
Thank you for the video!!! I just visited Paris a couple weeks ago and hoarded Fragonard and Goutal. I love their scents so much! I became such a perfume snob after Paris 😆

Will make review video of the brands!
Oh, this is great. I forgot about Annick Goutal -- I have a bottle of Folie d'un Soir somewhere that I now want to get out again. My favorite Guerlain overall is Mitsouko, likely because it has Chypre and I love Chypre. I love Chanel No. 5 and not so much Coco Mademoiselle, for some reason. I have La Vie est Belle and like it for outdoors, summers. I have no Dior or Hermes perfumes and the only YSL that I have is Libre, which I don't like at all. But, I am working on some of the list you gave me earlier and will likely buy those next. This was lovely, Alice.

J’adore Goutal’s Petite Cherie and Matin d’Orange. Nice video❤

I love all your suggestions of perfumes. I had / have most of them. Lately I decided to add all the must have all time classics in my collection. Guerlain Shalimar I hated in my 20's but now I really love it. Same person - same nose but different mood I guess. I choose a perfume according to everyday's mood. This is why I think it is important to have perfumes from all categories....

I agree about Shalimar and will give it another try since I am older. I know this happened to me with Chanel #5. I never thought I would own a bottle, but now that I am "mature" it has a different sort of appeal. I do think you have to have a certain maturity to wear it, and perhaps this is true with Shalimar as well.

@@virginiav.1172 I totally agree. A Chanel representative told me that when we have our menstrual days we should not try perfumes because they are different in our skin. I noticed also that when I am in a good mood perfumes tend to have a brighter performance... Pure Chemistry...

Bonjour! I discovered way back this fantastic vintage perfume "Tabac Blonde". I understand it is still produced and available to purchase. Absolutely lovely and sophisticated but quite unusual especially for modern taste. I was told that this one is super insider parisian perfume since it was introduced in 1920ies as the first perfume for smoking women. Back then it was for the first time allowed for women to smoke on the street. Is that right or just a city legend?

I recently discovered Anick Goutal Petite Cherie (I know I’m late to the game because it’s been around for a while) and I absolutely love it! ❤️💕 I much prefer clean, fresh perfumes over super sweet gourmand scents. I’m very interested in trying Guerlain Un Jardin Sur La Nil.

I love Anouck Goutal H'adrien, which I haven'y seen in many years. The other fragrances I like are by Guerlain, but it is their Alegoria line. They are lighter and very fresh, and I also can never find them. For older fragrances, Ilike but would never wear as they are too strong are Mitsouko and La' Vie a belle.
Could you please tell me the name of the perfume you mentioned that was number 12 on the list? It sounded like it was a more natural perfume or botanical. Do you have those kinds of fragrances in France--the kind that are more natural? Thank you.❤

IZIA by Sysley (2018)
I'm in the process of choosing all the names of your perfumes. Look in the transcript, but the spelling is often wrong. There are KZreadrs who correct their transcripts, for example Justine Laconte, which helps a lot when you're looking up brand names, but also when you're speaking a foreign language and don't understand every single word spoken. Could be an idea for you! Sincerely. Will test perfumes in the next few days! Best regards ... 💙💜❤

@@NoBadEnergy1 KZread automatically generates a transcript for each video. Below the video on the right there are three horizontal dots. Click it, then appears "Transcript", click that and you will see the spoken text writen on the right side of the screen. If someone has native English and clear pronunciation and needs common words, it's quite good. Otherwise there are funny translations. Since I don't speak English very well, I sometimes look up words in the transcript, a general word or a fashion brand, etc. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not. There are KZreadrs who correct their transcripts, which of course amasing.

Except for Annik Goutal, I don't like any of these perfumes. My skin just turns those mature florals into cloying bombs (however, I've smelled them in other people and they're lovely). I prefer unisex-ish scents, like Terre d'Hermes.

Yes, if you're an American, some of these fragrances seem old and stuffy. We are a new country full of more modern, innovative down to earth, ocean breezes, majestic mountains, beautiful deserts. This is why these fragrances don't adapt to you. Seek out American fragrances, you will find your love there.

When you put perfume, please stay discreet and don't shower in it. Some of us are very allergic and can get very sick, as all these perfumes, yes, even the expensive and couture ones, are 100% synthetic, even toxic. French companies offer natural perfumes made with real plant extracts, almost impossible to find in the US alas, and those are much better. I have a bottle of Joy from Jean PATOU from the 50's (my grand-mother collection), and at the time, it was 100% natural. A real gem. They do not make those anymore.
Sorry don’t agree. I like my own signature perfume. I am not interested in wearing perfume that is worn by so many others. Btw: channel no5 is awful.
I love the old Chloe, but they changed it. Not as strong or impactful anymore :,(
