Nikon Z9 time-lapse features review

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Deep dive review of Nikon Z9 time-lapse features by a professional time-lapse photographer. In this video you'll find out what's new, what has been fixed and what's been improved in the latest flagship Nikon Z9 that was kindly loaned to me by Nikon UK for making this review.
Nikon finally listened to me moaning about aperture flicker and FIXED IT !!! Well, partially, only up to F5.6 but it's a start and in line now Z lenses work the same as F mount lenses did.

Thanks Mattia, yeah some of the features are indeed industry leading, yet some lag behind, it’s a balance for sure if you have the money to splash on it, so hopefully it’ll work its way down to some cheaper bodies soon too

Thanks for this great video! I wish you'd show how to actually use the Interval Timer Shooting function - I have tried to shoot a 30 sec exposure x 10 shots x 1 second interval between the shots (so I put 31 in the Interval section) and the camera doesn't do it...

My Atomos Shinobi has 2 batteries for its monitor or an external pack. That said, it's not fast enough when using focus shift shooting. Depending on your shooting interval, it should work with 5 sec or longer.

Good question. Before Nikon Z9, I used to shoot timelapse with my Sony A7R and an external intervalometer. I could control each shot easily be pausing and adjust the exposure inputs. Now I haven't tried shooting timelapse with my Z9 but I wondered the same thing as you did.
