    His German was flawless well maybe more on the casual side but I have a friend who sounds alot like this and he is 100% german so as we say in Germany Hut ab.

    it was alright but definitely not "flawless". he pronounced the s in "spreche" and "verstehe" as s when they should sound like "sh" and said biss-shen instead of bisschen

    Scandinavian languages are very similar to german, grammatically, so its an easy transition

    French is easier than Swedish when in comes to the accent in my experience.

    @@trickers24 That's true, but Swedish pronunciation is much more difficult. I know quite a bit of German and French, I am fully fluent in Swedish, but my native language is English. I personally found that German was the easiest to pronounce, followed by French and then Swedish. Swedish accent is SUPER difficult.

    ​@@cardinalfox1176indeed, such a shame. I have same level as him in German...I was learning it for 9 years. That grammar is stopping me. Learning English was easier, the grammar, but also because ir is everywhere..films music etc. We do not dub anything into Danish - we use subtitles.

    As someone who’s mother speaks 5 languages, yet only speaks the other 4 when giving me a bollocking, I unfortunately understand 5 languages but speak 1 😂 P.s and yes, as a kid I was a mischievous and naughty little bugger, that’s why I was exposed to multiple languages so frequently that I started understanding them 😂

    @@jbnelson But Swedish is really hard for us Danes! Lol. I worked in Sundsvall for 7 months and definitely learnt to speak okay-ish Swedish, but for some reason I think it will never fall to us naturally, despite the similarities :) Swedish is hard ok! I can attest to that. Similarly, my colleagues were totally lost when I spoke Danish on the phone :)
