Thanks, John, for mentioning the plausible electoral tie in 2020. It's something US media frequently omits, probably to simplify discussions. That provision of the Constitution hasn't been used since 1825, and would have cast an even greater pall over Trump's legitimacy. Even if those three states flipped for him by a single vote, he still would have lost the national popular vote by 7 million--more than twice as large a margin as 2016. A fun fact: the last time a non-incumbent Republican presidential candidate won the popular vote AND the Electoral College was George HW Bush in 1988.

Also, of the several states already finished in their primary voting Nikki Haley has Won only ONE county. Just one; with each state averaging about 50 counties each. The question should be, why is Nikki Haley still in this race? She'll undoubtedly receive millions of dollars from Trump hating Donors for staying in the race. (If you really want to call it a race at this point.) But it's no longer a race. It's more about auditionung for a job on Leftist Media isn't it?

@@iainherridge6253 well you're wrong... The average person, who doesn't know how polls work, just assumes they reflect the entire population and that they project/predict voting outcomes. Like I said above, they are best used for seeing changes in opinion between polls. You can also assume that the average polled person is likely more informed than the average voter, even if the polling organisation tries their best to get a fair sample, because the fact that someone is being polled increases the likelihood that they might try to be more informed on politics etc. However it does not necessarily mean they are well informed, or correctly informed. Though there are metrics available, for example by also asking where they get their news from etc. This data is not often presented though, but it certainly exists! Polls rarely ever ask just a handful of questions! Btw if you want to know more, I think John Oliver might have done a segment on polls. But at the very least, you can find other videos on how polling organisations work, like how they select their polling samples and how they go about maintaining fair representation of the population. It's not just walking down the street and asking just anybody for their opinions... Every member of a sample has a detailed profile on record. There is a system and method to it all

If you are American, you have a right to free speech but only in America. The ABC owes you and no one an explanation on which videos they choose to allow comment. The basic hourly rate is the same as it was under Clinton. The condition of the working poor and wage slavery will never change now. The richest 3 people own more than the bottom 25%.

@gavaniacono The unemployment rate is around 3.7% which is the best it's been in my lifetime. The figures are so good even Fox News wasn't able to spin it as a negative. Not to mention wage growth is outpacing inflation, and our 401ks are booming.

Your commentaries are so WYSIWYG. You cannot deconstruct sufficiently and there is an a priori of ridicule 'involuntarily' built, no matter what or who, as along as it fits with your partisan prejudices. You lack the capacity to adequately deconstruct.
