I've been wearing black leather air force 1's (originals) often at a factory that I work in - concrete floors, up and down stairs, heavy lifting, pushing, moving... and the bottoms are still perfect, the mesh inside is fine, and the only thing I can say for wear is that the toe box has leather creases and the seams are a bit frayed and dirty, but otherwise, they're fine. I find them one of the most comfotable shoes, and I didn't need to break them in. The mid-soles are a saviour for my type of work! Also, I just cleaned my white air forces with a mixture that nike recommended for them on their website - mixing baking soda and dish soap. I took a tooth brush and scrubbed my shoes, and then I soaked my laces in them - both the shoes and laces look brand new. (The baking soda and soap makes the laces feel like gel, so just rub them together in a ball in your hands until they no longer feel like gel, and that's when you'll see them become white again.) @@cozyboyos9314 hell yeah, bro! Oh, just to note, I checked the stars and they are a little faded! I think because I'm not walking on rough road, tho. I guess that's the natural aging of them.

I'd say the creases and heel drag are the worst part about AF1, also they literally never go back to their original color once you sweat in them

Shoe crease protectors are really the safest route for the GRs if you don't want 'em to crease badly...but they're still gonna crease 😂

They crease a lot that's why I only wear them on special occasions

Complete agree always go for a special edition AF1, I got a special edition AF1 white with a black swoosh and I had it for 2 years and it isn’t creased as much as the regular white AF1 got creased within 6 months .

i think your AF1 is the fake one. coz the inside of the AF1 without insole it's all white and so premium. but idk your is maroon which is kinda weired .

nah chief- and you never saw the inside of my shoes without the insole. I explained in the video that I swapped the regular insoles for premium ones I got from Fleet Feet. they're called currex and mine are maroon. check em out & save your feets!
