This one gets straight to my inner self, pure poetry to evoke such a terrifying moment, when you're alone with your memories that flow all in one as a last glimpse into what was once your life...God this is so sad...Mostly when you have few memories, I know people who have so few memories I mean nice ones. NK's voice here is so poignant, he's killing me...

I cannot get enough of Kershaw these days. Being an original fan I lost touch over the years but I have since rediscovered the artiste and now have all his albums with each being better than the last...(if that were even possible) and sounding better than ever with such beautiful meanungful lyrics melody and instrumentation..I have total respect and admiration for Mr Nik Kershaw...

Just an absolutely beautiful haunting song, from the only musician good enough to have written it. As everyone has already said, he is a musical genius, and thank goodness I had the foresight to buy everything he has ever done, which fills my days with pure pleasure.

A genius....notwithstanding his great lyrics and music ..I like the fact that you can hear and understand every word...not the case for many artists

This is a beautiful, elegiac ballad. Why is NK overlooked? He has McCartney 's harmoniousness with Lennon's musical impertinence, plus incredible lyrics. All from one humble yet indomitable source. Please rate my comment for both accuracy of appraisal plus artistic pretentiousness. I have no fear x

Anybody hear the similarity to Madonna's "Wash All Over Me"? I thought it was the same song at first. Mr. Kershaw's is 3 years earlier of course.
