Even if Nik was involved in criminal enterprise it’s highly unlikely unless he was at the top of the food chain he would be able to risk such huge stakes on a live stream without at least being concerned about getting snapped, this man does not strike as someone who is acting covert in the slightest, my guess is he’s come into large amount of money which will be gone in the 6-9 months.

Ok I scrolled pretty far down the comments and didn't see this theory so I'll say it. Nik speaks fluent Chinese (Mandarin I think) and has been involved in getting Chinese gamblers onto the stream that can't even speak English. I'd say there's a good chance his money is connected to his Chinese connections. He's likely been invited to and played at the Chinese gambling games and those typically feature some true whales from what I've heard, perhaps he wins huge in those games or enough to where a Chinese whale invested into his LA poker character and told him to help give access to more Chinese tourist players.

Investment banking, huh? The only times I've ever seen someone suddenly come into seemingly endless money was when they were bilking their rich clients.

Dude w lots of cash comes in, burns it over said period of time, is gone. This repeats itself thousands of times at the poker room, all the way down to $1/$2. Bad gamblers, true degens, a human trait.
