The version at Wembley - with Marco and Floor duo is so emotional. Marco as main singer and Floor with back up vocals. Am very surprised there are so little reactions to this song in general. Tuomas wrote it for a movie. Lieska. The guitar solo is done by Troy Dockery instead of Emppu. Floor's background vocals take it to another level. @@alstlew You are right about the Wembley version. It is so unbelievable. The first one I saw was the one with scenes from the movie. I must have hit rewind at least 50 times. lol

Tarja has such a massive stage presence when she performs unlike any other female singer I've seen to date. She is so natural and ingrained in the performance as well as connected with the audience. Something that is rarely done easily. For me this will forever be the best time for Nightwish fans when she was heading the band.

I agree 100%. Saw NW live 2005 and till this day, it is most impressive gig I ever whitnessed live. Tarja was so charismatic and I was captivated throughout the gig. It was truly awesome.

Good reaction. End of an era is an amazing concert. It"s epic. It will be interesting to check out the upcoming Nightwish live DVD of the Decades tour. They performed many old songs, the Kinslayer is among them. Getsemane, Dead boy"s poem, The Carpenter , etc. All performed by Floor. I can't wait for that DVD. It will be amazing. And recorded in Colombia and Argentina. I was in the Buenos Aires' concert that day and the crowd... well you know how we are in South America.

This song is sadly timeless..the song is written by Tuomas Holopainen about the victims of the Columbine High School massacre in April 20, 1999. The dialogue in the middle of the song quotes the actual phrases between the killers and their schoolmates during the shooting. You should watch " bowling for columbine " documentary.

That guitar player Emppu vuorinen has other bands too, you should check Brothers Firetribe - heart full of fire (that song even has Nightwishs second singer anette in it) or other songs 😃

Btw you still have songs to react from Wacken ;). Hope you will also react to Planet Hell from end of an era. Tuomas said on interview that the music is ready for the new album so there’s gonna be new songs to react for you :).

Great reaction as usual. MORE NIGHTWISH. You should do "Ghost Love Score" from the End Of An Era version just to contrast with Floor's version. This DVD the audio mix is perfect, so you can hear all the KEYS, BASS, DRUMS, etc. its wonderful. Plus Tuomas has some epic solos in this version that you don't see much in other live clips. The climax isn't there since Tarja leaves the stage in the middle of a note but otherwise its great sound wise. You guys would enjoy it. Thanks!

Not a very well-known band, but very creative and talented. They are from Australia. Very similar style to TrollfesT, but perhaps more experimental, crazy, and catchy if you can imagine that. Its more depend on tipe of songs..early songs are better with tarja because they darker and her voice fits perfectly...later heavier songs fits more to floor...also on the live shows floor is better-more versatile voice...on studio albums tarja is better they can capture tarjas powerfull voice way better and its more stable there...just my opinion(that i know is right:)

I like Tarja and dont get me wrong, this is just not song for Tarja. This is song for Floor and Marco. You should hear them to sing this song. I did, and it is 1000% better.
