My all time favorite song. It has everything I want from a metal song and then some. Btw I don't think there's anything in here that suggests of anything religious. It's just about death. The Finnish autumn is dark and cold and everything dies.

Wintersun is amazing, you have to do Land of Snow and Sorrow from the Sonic Pump studio rehearsal series, that song is as magical as the Time and Sons of Winter and Stars I'm glad they lend Jukka to Nightwish for the virtual show and upcoming tour, afterwards we'll see what they come up with to continue, a return of Marko would be a dream

Fyi the deep growls are done by Jukka and drums are programmed by Jari. Yes, it is a drum machine. The song is sung from the viewpoint of Death who is jelaous and hating on humans I think. It is again tied to Jari's life.

Few steps closer to Black Metal ...yeah baby 🤘🏻! I love those parts when they combine low growling of background singer and high pitch screaming of lead singer. This song also reminds me of something we all face every now and then. When people who don't like metal music say that metal music is just noise, they usually refer to the black metal genre (even when they don't know that). For mixing and mastering this type of music is pain in the ass because you easily end up with muddy sound guality and individual instruments disappear to mix and the lyrics of the song cannot be heard. The more elements you add the harder it gets to receive good sound quality and Jari likes to add endless amount of everything 😂. However this song is actually very nicely done by many aspects. I would call this high guality Black Metal 👍👍👍!

Good content, but just to walk you thru the lyrics it's basically death talking about how it sees life as an unnatural phenomenon of the universe, because originally there was no life, every thing was silent and dark and vast, then life was created and to death, it was very despised.

Wintersun is a amzing band, in particular i like how they use the drums, and how they build up a song with guitar riff´s, its almost never from very hard to very soft, but a more smooth kind of buildup thats works very well.. And this song´s theme also fits the theme of the song, being a bit dark, chaotic, and hard.. still its not my favorite Wintersun song, but i can apreciate how its build up, and fitting the subject still, and yes its a great song.. Wintersun deserve some attention, first of all its a amazing band, making great song´s, , and 2nd, they made sure NW got their shit working again, with Kai and Jukka in.. well Jukka is actually still only the session member to fill in on tour, but well lets see about that, and btw, Kai and Jukka wasnt stolen, cause im pretty sure Kai and Jukka is pleased to join NW to. I really hope Wintersun still can produce great music without Jukka, and yeah i think they can carry on..

Jukka is still in Wintersun as you said he will just fill in for the tour (Wintersun is free right now) and afterwards he will probably dedicate back to Wintersun, hopefully for the recording of Time II So yeah we'll see how Tuomas decides to continue

@@dac2007 Yeah, it's long been known that jari has tons of material for guitar and bass recorded, enough for multiple albums. Jari just takes a really long time to mix and master all the other elements. We've already heard 2 songs off Time II anways, and I can't imagine there will be more than 1-2 full length tracks left on the album.

Oh no no, Nightwish is Tuomas, QUEEN Floor, EMPPU, and Troy. Welcome Jukka. And Kai, i love you guy. Yes ,we miss Marko, but he has his reasons. Now, a new Nightwish journey begins.

Nightwish *hired* Wintersun. Isn't theft if you pay for it :P

i miss Marco and thought Nightwish would be crappy after he left but I still love Nightwish and think they made a great choice by taking the best musicians - Jukka Koskinen from Wintersun is the best choice ever they could have made - and Kai of course - no one could be better than that

there is no Jukka and no Kai in this song...its all Jari and drummachine :P

I loved nightwish.....not long time ago they will be my favourite band....then i have discover wintersun.....now i just im hate nw.....they kill better than ..they ever will be even with them....bcause jari is true metal mozart.....nightwish kill best metal bend ever....i cant love that
