Jari wrote this song after his dad had passed away. Really makes it even more beautiful and sad at the same time

I get chills with the deep growling along with witch scream. It just fits perfectly.

It's nice to see that some reactors doesn't just check "what's the most popular song of this band nowadays", "Sons of Winters & Stars" is great, but this album is my personal favorite.

BTW, there was no female vocalist. It's all just Jari (except Jukka, the bassist, who did the low growls in the beginning)

"They could have gone all out with this crazy guitar madness." Well that's in the previous song on this album, but you might not want to listen to that one until you've fully warmed up to really harsh vocals.

This is the saddest, most beautiful song! Love it! You haven't heard Amorphis yet? Another great band from Finland. Please try "The Bee" (official lyric video). Most of their songs refer to Kalevala, the Finnish national epic.

Ah, you listened my funeral song. You were so getting the theme before the lyrics even began. Yeah it is about searching a way and meaning for life, recoconnecting to past, returning home and finding it there.

Same here, I find the growling rather boring as a vocal expression, but if the music is this good, I'll let it slide. If you like this mor balanced mix of growling and clean voice I think you'll like Time
