Yeah,but her sexiness unsanctifies such beautiful song.If she was wearing that revealing robe in say "She is my sin" that maybe would be appropriate,but this "bra" on that masterpiece is is like sugar on meat or apple with onion...

Nightwish, top symphonic metal at wacken

I think End of all Hope is the most iconic nightwish song ever. It was my first song I ever listen to in my whole life. And this song invited me to the world of music and Metal! Always love this song my most favorite Nightwish song.

Gonna have to agree with the majority here. Floor is a fantastic vocalist. Her English enunciation is way better. But you can tell this song was written for Tarja's voice.

Nightwish is really one of the Best bands in the world. Imo. They have everything. Story telling. Scene show. Effects lightning. Great People. An they have floor she is just out of this world!!!. There is nothing she cant do.

yes, like The Siren, at first, she had Tarja's backing voice but they hadn't had this anymore in 2016

I love Floor's vocals, but her version of this song didnt make me feel like the end of world as the original does. Tarja's dark voice color makes the difference

Yeah, agree with you... Floor has sung this song using her chest voice, so it feels lighter, especially on the opening... but the rest is more and less the same...

@@jeysonsoto5343 yp creo que la voz de floor lo hizp resaltar mas a marko. A ver que nightwish estaba antes que floor y si le iba bien es porque en parte funcionaban, pero marko siento que tiene mas quimica que con tarja, de hecho, si miras las canciones, la mayoria las modifican para que ambos las cierren al unisono o se inventan algo. Tenes the greates show of the earth, weak fantasy, song of myself.

thats the main Nightwish problem .. they have too many too good songs :D if they put them all the show is gonna be 5,6 hours long (nothing wrong with it tho)

Concuerdo contigo, el problema es que Floor puede dar mas de sí cuando se trata de estas canciones, antes de NIghtwish tienen desempeños vocales muy interesantes, pero tengo entendido que busca diferenciarse de Tarja, no ser una copia y en ese afán reduce su rendimiento.

They've publicly stated they will not do that. They feel it is disrespectful to the original singers to rerecord their songs with new singers.

what are you talking about? there is no patent on songs. and the band owns the copyright, not tarja.

Floor slayed it but let's be honest this song was written for Tarja and her dark operaish voice. Anyone else singing it no matter how great vocalist they are, can't reach Tarja's amazingness

I prefer this version of the song, after Floor joined the Band, my feeling is that Tarja is a Fender Telecaster with one string only and Floor is the same guitar model with extra strings....

​@@bornready6924 It's your opinion, mine and the opinion of the majority of the persons and their peers is that Floor is much better, and between Floor and Tarja you can add a few more singers. Tarja is a good singer, with a unique voice, no doubt, but try to Put Tarja singing a song from Annette or Floor, and you will understand that she can't do it better than Floor, and Floor can sing better than Tarja, several Tarja songs.

@@pedroserrano4485 .. lol..Floor's training is in musical theater and some opera..nowhere near Tarja's proficiency...she always sounds like she is auditioning for pop industry, nowadays...a far cry from her glorious days of AF and Revamp..ii was a big fan in those metal, hungry days...now Floor has been sidelined for Troy..just sad

I miss her, when she sang everyone was mesmerized, girls were crying wishing to be her. Guys were head banging (though after a certain age...whiplash 🤕). Here most are just standing around and others look like they can't wait for it to be done.

U just have more habits on Tarja, but musicaly speaking, if you even made your lyric music classes, Tarja is way ahead in every singing ways : lyric, classic, growl, scream, low, ... Tarja still has lovers because ppl had the habit but tbh she just can sing 2 different head notes, itss really poor musicaly.

This mix definitely has issues. I saw them live on this tour and they sounded so much better than this.

I watched this whole concert the other day, and I noticed I have a hard time understanding them (FOH engineer's job) - which took awhile to figure out since I know the lyrics - and the balance is off. Also, Floor reaches for her ears at least 4 times, either to re-position her in-ear monitors or because the sound in them is bad (monitor engineer's job). Whoever the audio team was on this show, their strengths were not in line-check + mixing on the fly. Wacken needs better guys.

@@calenlass1112 Wacken live has a quite brilliant sound most of the time, but I guess the (live!)stream has its own sound mix, and that is often a bit lacking...

Yes, you are right. Live it was perfect, a quality like Wacken 2013, but the recording of Wacken 2013 and Bloodstock 2018 have a really bad mixing :(

Floor antes no hacía giras tan extensas como las que hace Nightwish, el estar constantemente viajando, cambios de clima, horario, no comer ni dormir de la mejor manera y demás son cosas que le cobran factura a la voz.

Amigo, la edad pasa factura. Si te gusta el metal te doy el ejemplo de avenged sevenfold con shadows. El chabon hoy en dia hay partes que no la canta y ya no hace los gritos de antes. Ojala fuese inmortal floor, pero cada uno adecua sus capacidades acorde a sus tiempos

Wouldn't it be awesome if some day Tarja and Floor do a show together and Floor sings Tarja's nightwish era songs and Tarja sing Floor's era songs?

Very bad sound mix... Why don't you get a real professional to do the mix...? Almost every time wacken puts out official videos and live stream the mix is somehow weak and powerless. Music sounds better if the mix is well done. Now, nightwish is a great live band, but with this mix they do not sound close to what you hear in the crowd. I also noticed that with primal fear, rage and others... A pity 🤔
