The question is was it Bruce's idea or did they force him to join it? Are there two groups one with and one without Bruce

I think the most touching thing is that Bruce (Yes, I know he was in his Batman attire when he called Dick at the end) CALLED Dick to let him know he did right by Alfred. Considering how Dick told Superman that he didn't want to talk to Bruce because he'd probably talk him out of his plan. Heck, he received a call instead of a text from his 'dad' after his announcement. I loved these issues so much! From the group of heroes...FRIENDS coming to his aid once his coms went off to the Batfamily group text at the end...LOVE IT ALL SO MUCH!!!!

Nightwing might be the only character that gets decent retcons. This plus the court of owls stuff is really some top tier stuff.

This is a bad retcon. Because it clashes with pre-existing established lore. Nightwing's parents were married when they got into Haley's circus. So saying that he was with somebody else before he met his wife yet he was in the circus directly contradicts the story as a whole.

And then you put all that aside all of it Bruce had prior knowledge of the flying graysons therefore would know that did Grayson's father had another child because he's Batman. Yet Bruce never once told Grayson that he had a sister? It's a bad retconned that's easily contradicted when you use the slightest bit of in World lore and logic.

Both Nightwing by Tom Taylor and The Flash by Jeremy Adams have both been 10/10 runs so far. Dick Grayson and Wally West fans rejoice!

I like how Nightwing is using Alfred's money And I also love how he named the company Alfred pennyworth Foundation ....And I like heartless the villain can wait to find out who he really is

This makes me love nightwing even more than i already do

The moment between Bruce and Dick was so poignant. Bruce has always been sort of a anti-social person in the comics and the fact that HE felt the need to CALL Dick and go out of his way to tell him how proud of him he was speaks volume about what Dick did and Alfred as a father to bruce

I love that in the first issue Barbara mentioned that Cass has no self control with emojis, and at 11:07 we see what she means 😂

I’ve been loving this Nightwing run….love Nightwing’s relationship wit Superman, pple forget Bruce isnt the only member of the bat family that’s close to Clark, Dick and Alfred are too, maybe Damian?? I mean Clark is his best friend’s dad so….btw I can’t wait till Alfred comes bacc to life

This is why writers need to respect nightwing he’s been shafted so many times it’s good like things are going well for him but unfortunately we know that doesn’t goes well for long.

Excellent they retconned him a sister without completely botching his origin story or leaving absurdly obvious plot holes. Within the handful of panels you just paraphrased, this is already better than the Black Widow movie🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The pothole is they never had a child ever aside from Dick Grayson it was never set up it was never hinted at and Batman of all people did not know. It's trash writing they did not do a good retcon this is bad writing.

He is becoming one of my favorite hero

Taylor’s Nightwing is great. To your point it’s adding to his backstory and it feels organic and not forced. Dick is the true definition of what a hero is ….glad to see it coming to life in the series.

Man when he said the "Alfred Pennyworth Foundation" a tear appeared in my eye. Damn good stuff

This is why Dick Grayson is my favorite Superhero. Doesn’t matter what storyline or multiverse, Dick is always such a kind genuine hero inside and out. In some storylines he even dies a hero. I cannot express how much I appreciate DC for never changing him and for this Recent love in the Arkham games, Lego games, Titans show and young justice show all doing him justice 💙

This series makes it seem like Dick use Nightwing as a tool that eventually needs to end. The idea of being a superhero is necessary but not fun or enjoyable. The idea of fixing the city through various social programs shows how he's trying to deal with core issues and not create new ones like in Gotham. I like that because he can be Batman but it doesn't make it seem like Batman is the best option, but there are better options to stop crime. He is being a more effective Batman and Wayne.........himself

Am loving the new take on Nightwing, everyone was shocked to learn that Bruce Wayne/Batman wasn't the only richest man in Bat-family.

@@Aames32 socialism or a mixed socialist/capitalist system since no one talked about a lack of property or capital, just social ssfety nets for the least fortunate. Dick's actions are super political since he is creating social programs and not donations (oniy done by rich guys to avoid taxes). He is implementing many progressive programs that poll highly with a majority of the people and poorly with rich elites.

I loved the strike force that was prepared to enter the fray. Dick Grayson is basically a nuclear power with the heroes ready to come to his aid.

I am truly loving this Nightwing storyline! I feel like DC has been reading many of the fanfiction on Tumblr where any and or all of the Robins are given a biological sibling. Giving Dick an older sister is truly awesome! I think it's also a beautiful idea that Dick created a way to honor Alfred in the foundation. It's something I would definitely do, if I ever won the lottery.

Can you do history of the Elementals, Cyclone and Sandman along with Kurt Conners the Lizard, Electro, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with Morbius, Alistair Smythe the Ultimate Spider Slayer and Loxias_Crown AKA Hunger?

IMO this is an awesome idea and naming his foundation after Alfred- total boss move.

The idea of Dick using the money to fix Bludhaven is a noble idea but we see in real life that rarely happens. This is nothing more than a wish list. Instead he should be finding way to rehabilitate the city, try to make it another Metropolis. This means trying to remove the evil, clean up the neighborhoods, etc. It's almost he needs to have a full scale cleaning of all the known criminals and corruption in the city. But this comics, so they can write this fanfic any way they want.

I disagree. Whilst it can only be a good thing to take out the criminal topdogs, in order to make lasting change you need to give ordinary people an opportunity to make a decent life , otherwise desparation becomes their driver. Bludhaven and Gotham, are full of people who turn to crime, drugs, prostitution etc. because they see no other way to survive, the criminal kingpins feed off those people. Nightwing's purpose is to take out the crime bosses, Dick Grayson's/ the Foundation's purpose is to give people a good enough life to keep them on the straight and narrow.

Where is the next video for this???!!!! I need to know what happens next
