“Kuando el rey Nimrod” is a Sephardic folk song that tells the story of Abraham, the father of monotheism. It originated from a piyyut called La vocación de Abraham, written in the 18th century by anonymous authors in the Ottoman Empire. It was later modified by an author from Morocco in 1890, who made it shorter and catchier. It became a popular song among the Sephardic Jews and some Klezmer bands. The song depicts Abraham as already born in the Jewish quarter, and follows his life based on some Jewish sources.

As an Orthodox Christian, I love Sephardic Culture & this song is a banger
I just found this song and I didn’t expect there to be any nightcore of it 😭 it seems like a song that no one from the nightcore community would know. I used to listen to nightcore and it was all like sped up random songs and scene music, but nothing like this 😭

@@suebursztynski2530 it is kind of hebrew flavored so, just remove all the hebrew references, add back the more castillian references then boom you got medieval spanish.

Para que sea mas llamativo, normalmente el público anglosajon o de otros lugares del mundo no suelen abrir los títulos de canciones en español, o en este caso, sefardí.

Porque el mundo habla anglosajon por si no te enteras genio, haci das a conocer tu contenido a mas gente de diversas culturas, "Noo pero mi orgullo hispano 😭" y luego lloras cuando todos hablan de Francia, Italia o Reino Unido cuando se habla de Europa. Porque en España os cerrais, y parece que se enorgullecen de eso.

Jewish communities have been in Europe longer than the Slavs and Magyars. If Sephardic Jews are not European then neither is Russia, Poland, Hungary, Czechia, etc.
