best version of one of the best rock songs ever.
This brings back the good ol days, cassette cranked up on the 6x9's in my Chevelle, my girl sitting close at 80 MPH headed to the beach for a keg and a bon fire. Now I feel like a taxi driver shuttling kids back and forth from home to practices to friends houses. 38 years since high school...goes by in a blink.

LOL sounds similar to my life, it's all good man
A testament to both the quality of the composition and the musicianship.
Simply fantastic! Where has this type of music gone? Bring back the good old times of Rock and Roll and a strong proud America.

The ppl running the music industry don’t like good music.
I've watched this Dozens of times, Better every time.
The musicians band. These guys are so talented
How fantastic was that
If I ever want to play a solo it will definitely be like how Brad does it here such feel and passion then to finish off like his band mate smooth and flawless flavourful. Definitely one of the best songs of the 80s has to offer.
I would not have expected that song to work that well unplugged
I LOVE this band!!!
By far the best version of this song ,great job guys! Killer solos
my favorite song though I was not born that time
Brad Gillis is a badass!!!

He is ridiculous. Serious badass!!!
That was great! I'm glad that I stumbled upon that. 🎉
Absolutely awesome!
Not an easy tune to translate acoustically, but the guys pulled it off with passion and musicality... well done!

Brad is missing his trademark whammy bar.
Saw these guys at Food and Wine (Epcot at WDW) last night and damn it's amazing that they still sound so great 31 years later. Jack, Brad, and Kelly haven't lost a step. No one can replace Jeff, but Joel does a fine job. The new keyboardist is solid as well. This is what rock is. Anyone not old enough to know who these guys are, take note and drop the losers who make up popular music today.
Saw the boys back in 82/83 openin for Hagar.. Awesome show..
glad to see all of them again
AMAZING!!!
WOW, what in incredible version! Truly one of the best rock songs EVER! This great tune had it ALL! I can't find the original video here on KZread though!

How awesome is this?
Worst cameraman ever. You've got a great band, with great guitarists, playing great guitars, and during the guitar solo, you focus on the lead singer? Cmon man!
Keep Rock'in!
Soooooooooo damn catchy and energetic ha !! To quote another band, I'm jealous, I'm jealous again ! Top notch performance !
Still kickin ass after all these years !!
NNNIIICCCEEE!!!! Great performance ! Having a blast!
These guys are awesome....
Woo, play it Brad!
Love this version.
Chills of awe. Magnificent!
Boss!!!
WoW..i just have a new profound interest and admiration for these rockers...i envy those in attendance..what a Rousing performance all around. Class😎
A great acoustic version. Brad was/is very underrated and Joel playing with them just makes it that much cooler.
Love it ,,,,,damn
I really like the snippet of Deep Purple's Highway Star during the solo.
Wow, wonderful version. Magnífica ✌🏻🎸🙌🏻
I hit the like button within seconds
ABSOLUTELY BAD ASS TUNE! ! GREAT VERSION. I WORE THIS ALBUM OUT! !! BRAD GILLIS IS BAD ASS! .. THE SHIT! ! ! !
30年以上前の曲 アコースティックver 何度見ても いいね👍
I would've gone nuts with this version if i heard it over 30 years ago. I feel like NR deprived me. But hey it brought me back.
Awesome.
That was frickin great✌️👌😃
Good one❤
Love these cats! Kelly Keagy shaking it up!
Still infatuated with this song
Roll On !
dayum
Bloody hell that's cool. Wow!!!!
TO THE YEAH! ! ! ! AWESOME! !!!#
Joel a great guitarist himself in awe of his bandmates here.😎

Play that Brad! You are the shit!!
fucking wow!
I never realised how much Hoekstra looks kind of like Lane Staley. They both could pass as brothers!
April 6th 2020 woohooo
Oh to have been there or better yet to be them. What skill a talent. I envy!
I heard an acoustic version today on the radio that the band recorded. Don't think it was this one though because I'm pretty sure that I heard some bass included. Anyway- this sounds fantastic, as well and I'm sure not easy to play acoustically, particularly during the solo runs. Just goes to show ya what a great guitarist playing a great guitar (Nods to Taylor) is capable of playing. Thanks for sharing :)
Play it Brad, and wow he sure did!
HOLY FUCK!
Brad and Joel have an instructional video here on YT. Lessons would have cost me $$$$. I learned a lot about reverse alternate picking as well as sweep picking stuff.
Brad is one of the coolest guitarist..
最高!
I wanted to hear those speakers kick in!
This is a great version! I still miss Jeff "8 Fingers" Watson and love the original lineup the most of all version of NR, but Hoekstra does a pretty damn good job, too!!!
You can tell Brad would SO much rather be on the electric....Guys amazing.
Who knew Brad Gillis playing at Alameda High School. Quite the alumni in 1975, Brad Gillis, Debbie Sivyer aka Debbie Fields aka Mrs. Fields Cookies.
HO-LY FUCK!!! BEST VERSION EVER. DAMN THAT SHIT WAS BAD ASS.WOE....
As good as live gets!
Why wasn't Joel's lead on camera?

Because the camera man is an idiot.
That was some badass guitar playing. Unfortunately, only one guitarist got the attention.
This band is and will always be awesome! Great unplugged performance. BUT the cameraman missed the whole second solo? "Come on camera guy" Filming nonesense and turning the camera away instead of capturing the second lead solo is "NO GOOD"! Band = Great energetic performance with shredding acoustic guitars. Camera Guy = "NO GOOD"!

Voilà couldn't have said it better :)
Where is Jeff Watson ?
hot and cool😉!!
Why no camera shot on the second guitar solo?? Was that the orginal second guitarist Jeff Watson?
What's the guitar name that Brad Gills uses?
@FrankQuero

Taylor T5 I think
Brad Gillis~~~~~~!!!!!
Joel Hofstra on the other guitar?? Sure looks like my TSO brother.
Balls
Without Floyd Rose.
I wonder why Jack isnt playing bass.
too bad they ignored the 2nd solo, which was actually noteworthy.
the drummer looks like will farrow
Q: Does it get any better? A: No
Very cool, but plug back in. The power of this song is plugged in. Night Ranger rocks.
Drummer is always at end of stage right. Different
このカメラアングルからジェフの脱退が推測されます
Sounds better acoustic...who knew!!!!
REally too bad Jeff left. Hoekstrum is good but Jeff helped pen their best songs.
Purple😂
💡Fun Fact: Two-thirds of modern-era drummers are required to resemble Will Ferrell in order to meet government quotas.
No Offense, but these songs wernt ment to played in an Acoustic Setting. One More Thing . . . . Where the HELL is Jeff Watson?
@BWR84

Thrills2010 Joel replaced Jeff many years ago already.
sounds like crap acoustically.
Night Ranger, go away. So generic sounding. Great players though.
