This car is a Chinese Chery Tiggo 5x, at least that's the model on sale in Brazil. Nigeria is trailing the right path though: first emulate a good product around and then Nord will have the expertise to design, engineer and assemble its own cars.

IVM, NORD etc are obviously Chinese-built cars given Nigerian name badges but these are the cars that should be flooding Nigerian roads, not imported used cars.

If their marketers can send it for British car reviewers like CARWOW or us car reviewers like KELLY BLUE BOOK this car will sell with the affordable price it's given and ot looks great ...i also like the roof/head space im seeing

Front wheel drive, CVT, 114hp. It's definitely an economy car. Probably reliable, would be cheap to maintain. Though I'm a little skeptical of CVTs

Mat Watson is a popular British car reviewer and he does in-depth reviews (plus some mad fun stuff like drag races!); e.g., he often tests SUVs from different manufacturers. I'd love to see this Nord 45 against, say a Kia Sportage, or a Hyundai Tucson. Perhaps it would be a better comparison with brands like Peugeot, Renault or Nissan. What do you think?

I think both Nord and IVM are not doing enough on marketing strategy ;especially IVM they are not even given chance to Nigerian car reviewers to do a review of their vehicle that's not good....if Nord or IVM starts can give their car to OLa Of Lagos or CARWOW to review it will really boost their sales,..Nord is trying though@@Gandalf606

You sold the car really well. The current foreign exchange market has priced the car out of the reach of the common man. I am happy to see how well Nord has transformed.

₦28M is not cheap, the current exchange rate is the problem is.

Car is so beautiful, and comparatively very cheap as compared to comparative western and Eastern cars

This car looks alot like its Korean competitors with a splash of some of the Chineese mixed in. Also based on this video this boot looks too small for a car of this size.
