Finally! Is the Made In Nigeria Nord A5 the Safest Car in the World Yet?
Over the years, certain countries have been known to import cars and Nigeria is one of them.
Today, automobile manufacturing brands are springing up and are in hot competition with other world-known brands.
One such is Nord Motion which was launched in 2017 and in December 2020, they launched 5 of their newly built Vehicles, one of which I’ve just reviewed above, the Nord A5 SUV and it’s in high demand.
The Nord A5 comes bearing lots of features that RE-define the driving experience in so many ways. It’s filled with so many fun and driving features, modern technology and so many more.
The most thrilling bit of information is the Euro-NCAP safety rating of 5.0 and it’s amazing crash test results.
Do you think it truly gives off the experience?
Watch the video above now to find out.

You see that part where you say you don't have a problem with it, that's a problem. Retro drive would still point out the faults in any car no matter the class. Cause I do feel a professional auto journalist like you no matter how much you love the car you show be able to point out the faults point blank. Cause pointing out these problems in terms of aesthetics, mechanical specification, utility/ functionality, pricing, performance and many more can even send out messages to the company for them to know where to work on and improve for future models coming from them.

The car looks good for an upcoming company in Nigeria, I hope they keep it up and outperform the competitors in the Nigerian market! To the review; the engine cover says 1.6T GDI. Is the 1.6T not indicating 1.6 liter turbo charged? Where did the 2.7 liter displacement you mentioned come from? Also did you say the car does 7l/100km in the city and 9l/100km highway? Did you mix this up? It is supposed to be the other way around. What is the combined figure? 62MPH is = 100km/h! You did 0 - 60km/h, NOT 0 - 60 MPH!!!! It is obvious that you are just getting started, and you are passionate about what you do, but it is important to do your homework properly, may be write a script for yourself and REHEARSE before you start. Did you say it has an NCAP rating of 5? Where is the evidence?

I support, but I feel like you should have done more research and give us more details on the fuel economy and explain it in more "Nigeria" terms... Like, "in Lagos traffic" and "traveling from Lagos to Ibadan or Benin express road"... I think that's what lot of Nigerians could or would relate too... Thanks for the review, NORD is doing a nice job and for allowing Nigerians (especially a female) to review their cars, it's more lit!... I love this video and I love NORD... Thanks again!!!...

Thanks for also bringing our country's made automobile into the spotlight. Love it when fellow black folks talk about technology or travel or something productive. Awareness of technology and infrastructure is what can boost our image. Love to see technology produced in Africa. The car is superbly made. How can we lower prices???? It will be very important to be accommodating in the areas of classes of cars in varieties.... Those who can't afford the A5, can get A1,2,3 or 4. The reviews remained splendid but there's always need for improvement... Good achievement and a continued improvements

We hardly read books and comments in Africa but we watch stories and videos.... Get some few popular celebrities to book an appointment to drive your cars, short videos and place it on social media and television stations... It can have a positive impact....

Hmmm, nice car built by Nigerian in Nigeria, really proud of my country but the world is flushing down ICE vehicles and moving to electric vehicles with improved technologies and hoping for Nigeria to be among the trend... Before you turn my words against me( I know that we have low stable electricity) I have an off grid electricity and ready to buy a Tesla model 3 and powerwall 2 and you could make a review about it when it arrive and push to young peeps to get into these trends as well

@@olaiyatunde3023: When there is demand for electric cars, Innoson would produce the electric cars. Just as the government demanded bullet proof cars and he made it. You can't produce things when there is no yet demand for it and also Nigeria is currently dependent on oil exports so fuel cars will not be going away anytime soon from Nigeria. Maybe by 2060 we will be talking about electric made cars in Nigeria. Even senate throw away the motion when it was raised by Ben Bruce about electric cars.

And if it's about fuel economy a Toyota RAV4 would do as low as 6.7-8.8 litres per 100km depending on highway, city or travel conditions. While this is doing 7.9 all the way to 10 litres. I'm pretty sure I don't need to point out which is obviously more fuel efficient and even so less pollutive.

This car was made to be more durable for Africa roads. The same way you have American spec is the same way this is Africa spec. In Africa we have very rough roads so the suspension and many other things were made to be more strong and have more weight than the cars made in USA so with extra weight it will consume a little more fuel.
