Nigeria always had the athleticism to keep up with the US, they just needed the experience and the development we have. It’s no coincidence Giannis & Embiid are 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA today. Now saying this, I haven’t failed to realize the NBA have been burning out the players this year and everyone can’t give 100% effort at the moment. Some of these guys were just in the playoffs just last month.

What a million dollar outcome

Im not a usa team fan, basically becuase i dont watch basketball at the Olympics, but as a former active player, I see this has a great opportunity to win gold medal. USA team players who play at the highest level, their salary is highest and so is their ago. Many players dont want to play at national games due to risk of their job. This "lose" is good for them, to know where they were wrong, to improve and play better and most important to know that they are not invincible, and if they wont play as should they can lose even if they are the best team on paper. Good luck!

It doesn’t matter how good you are, if you don’t work together as a team, you will lose. Nigeria won(simple and factual) no buts, no ifs, just congratulations to us and move on.
